Like Shiny, Twilight and Skylight struggled quite a bit with the dance. It didn't help that they didn't have a partner to help them with this. The pair frequently apologized to each other when one of them accidentally stepped on the other during the dance. However, after a few songs, the pair seemed to get the flow and started to enjoy the dance. 

"My name is Tibia," the changeling replied. "It's a pleasure to dance with you. What made you interested in swing dancing?"

Depending on how well Shiny was able to understand the basics and how ambitious Shiny was feeling, Tibia would suggest trying some more complicated moves.

"It's Silkytastic to meet you as well, Tibia!" *Shiny returned the polite manners of her changeling partner, while trying to keep track of the dance moves.*

"What made me interested in swing dancing? It's simple! King Thorax said that Changelings do swing dancing and so do I, now! What about you?" *The unicorn answered Tibia's question, as her stability was progressively improving.*

Much to Twilight and Skylight's relief, another pair of changelings would offer to dance with them, helping them out significantly.

"Ah that's cool. As for me, after the hive reformed, everyling was allowed to be themselves and discover themselves. I found out that I really like dancing to jazz music. And I like it even better with a partner, like you," Tibia replied, placing particular emphasis on the last two words.

*Shiny's cheeks reddened, the soft red a stark contrast to her white skin. Sweat began to pearl on her forehead, as she realized that Tibia was flirting with her. She became less focused on the dance and more on a way to escape from this situation without breaking the heart of a Changeling.*

"Oh, um, sorry. Did I make you uncomfortable?" Tibia said, seemingly picking up on Shiny's emotions.

"Oh will you look at the time! We gotta go!" Skylight remarked at the end of a song, seemingly specifically loud enough for Shiny to hear. Twilight and Skylight would wind down their dancing and thank their partners for helping them before splitting away from the rest of the dancers. Skylight would gesture towards Shiny for her to follow along. 

Once the trio was outside the dance floor and away from the crowd, Skylight would remark, "Well, that certainly was an interesting experience. What did you think?"

"Oh will you look at the time! We gotta go!" Skylight remarked at the end of a song, seemingly specifically loud enough for Shiny to hear. Twilight and Skylight would wind down their dancing and thank their partners for helping them before splitting away from the rest of the dancers. Skylight would gesture towards Shiny for her to follow along. 

Once the trio was outside the dance floor and away from the crowd, Skylight would remark, "Well, that certainly was an interesting experience. What did you think?"

*As soon as she spotted Skylight gesturing to her, Shiny left the dance floor so fast that it left a unicorn-shaped cloud behind her. Outside, the mare slowed herself down to adjust her pace to Skylight and Twilight's.*

"Mmh? Oh yeah! Interesting was definitely the kind of adjective I'd use to describe what happened!" *She said, her heart still pounding his her chest. However, Shiny suddenly remembered about something that shifted the flow of her thoughts.*

"What time is it? It must be late now! As said earlier, I'll prove to you that I have a deep connection with the Moon, Twilight, once the Pink Moon arrives! Again, this is a weird name for the Moon turning golden to have!"

"Yeah I think the sun has set already," Skylight said as she tried to navigate the group outside. After a few u-turns and Skylight glancing wildly around trying to figure out where they are, they managed to make it to an outdoor area of the hive.

"So uh, what are we looking for here?" Skylight asked as she glanced up at the night sky.

"Oh really? let's go see!" Twilight exclaimed like an excited little filly.

"Yeah I think the sun has set already," Skylight said as she tried to navigate the group outside. After a few u-turns and Skylight glancing wildly around trying to figure out where they are, they managed to make it to an outdoor area of the hive.

"So uh, what are we looking for here?" Skylight asked as she glanced up at the night sky. 

 

"We are looking for the Pink Moon! A phenomenon which causes the Moon to have a golden hue, most of the time! Although it can obtain other colors, the Pink Moon is often confused for the Strawberry Moon which turns the Moon pink. This confusion often causes various sources of knowledge to claim that it is pink." *Shiny Silvermoon answered Skylight's question, while seeking a glimpse of the Moon's golden light.*

*When the gaze of the unicorn caught the shine of the celestial orb, the style of her mane and tail instantly shifted into a more intellectual version of themselves, a straight cut. In the same time, the icy blue lines on them along with her eyes turned purple. Then, a pair of translucent silver wings materialized on her back. The metamorphosis of the pony ended with the crescent moon of her cutie mark becoming golden instead of silver. Shiny's appearance was now similar to Twilight Sparkle's own.*

"Usually, when this occurs, I sneak into a library to read books and ancient scrolls, until the sunrise! With the expansion of my knowledge on magic, brought by the Pink Moon, I've come to the conclusion that the sudden urge to blow the dust of old books is caused by the temporary addition of psychological traits from the Princess of Friendship!" *The mare explained to her friends, while walking in a circle around them. As she was displaying her new knowledge on magic, a spark of interest was glowing in the depths of her eyes. It was obvious that she could have spoke about it for hours, if nopony stopped her.*

"Misfortunately, I will lose this knowledge, as soon as I return to my normal form… Maybe I should write it somewhere, for my futur self! Spike! Take a n-… Oh… Heh! Wrong identity! The mental changes are heavier than with any other transformations."

Twilight and Skylight gasped at this transformation. Once it was complete, Twilight scrutinized her recoloured doppelganger. She seemed quite intrigued. Skylight, meanwhile, was a little disturbed by this.

There are so many cool things we could do!" Twilight exclaimed, hopping in place like an excited filly. "I want to find out about everything!"

"Oh wow, I'm um, not sure if I would be able to keep up with that," Skylight said. She was relieved that Twilight didn't seem disturbed by this, but now she was a little concerned that Twilight might get a little carried away with talking about and doing magic.

"Also, maybe we should, like, chill a little? We are like guests here at the changeling hive..." Skylight added.

"Exactly! There's so many topics to discuss about! Like, if you happened to retire from being the Element of Magic and Derpy was chosen to replace you, would I get my eyes crossed, instead, during the Pink Moon? There's so many questions to answer!" *Shiny exclaimed with an excitement equal to Twilight's own. Her hooves were repeatedly pounding the floor.*

*After Skylight's intervention, the unicorn calmed herself down a little.* "Accurate. The Pink Moon take place every so often so Twilight and I could spend them together, in the futur. However, it's not often that I get the chance to visit the Changeling Hive! As much as I would like to shut myself into a library with the Princess of Friendship, we must make the best of our time here."
