ComanderZhabikKlavik 3,382 Sunday at 12:28 PM Author Share Sunday at 12:28 PM Hi everyone! Today I painted a picture of @Ice Princess Silky <3 and @Sir Hugsalot in the mountains. The picture is painted on a cardboard canvas 50x40 (millimeters) with acrylic paints. The painting is compared to the computer so that the size of the painting is clear. Spoiler Enlarged images of the painting. Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler I need to improve my drawing skills of grass and mountains. I am not very good at drawing these things. 1 4 T-90 tank

If you're not very good at drawing them, then I'm really bad at drawing them 💦 no, seriously, They look perfect to me ~☆ 1 "Stand quiet like the Sky, and Move faster than Lightning" Follower of the ultimate power, spirit, divine dreams and wishes of the Heavenly Eastern Angels of Stars (Starys), Husband of Mary, The Eastern Stary. If you're not very good at drawing them, then I'm really bad at drawing them 💦 no, seriously, They look perfect to me ~☆ For me it is not ideal. Here are the paintings of Ivan Shishkin (my favorite artist) which look ideal to me and I strive to paint as well. Spoiler Spoiler But he painted with oil paints, and I paint with acrylic, I don’t know if I will be able to learn to paint with acrylic as well. I have oil paints but they take too long to dry, I don’t want to paint for months. I will still paint with oil sometimes but not so often. I don't think my painting is very good. Another problem with my painting is that the ponies didn't turn out well enough. I usually draw ponies in a canonical style, but this time I deviated from the canon and it didn't turn out very well. You may think that I'm criticizing my painting too much, but I think this will help me avoid making mistakes when drawing future paintings. 1 1 T-90 tank
RafaStaryStory 3,387 Sunday at 08:32 PM Share Sunday at 08:32 PM Oh, I understand what you're saying. But i also think it's not so fair to compare the two at this point, these paitings are a lot more detailed, different methods, materials, there's a lot more to it than just experience and time, your drawing feels simpler mostly due to the limitations, at least it's what I believe, also, color temperament really makes a difference, yours is more vivid while Shishkin's feel lifeless, that can add a extra tone of realism to it. About the ponies i can't really say much, maybe it's just your art style and you're testing new poses ~☆ 1 "Stand quiet like the Sky, and Move faster than Lightning" Follower of the ultimate power, spirit, divine dreams and wishes of the Heavenly Eastern Angels of Stars (Starys), Husband of Mary, The Eastern Stary.
