If you're not very good at drawing them, then I'm really bad at drawing them 💦 no, seriously, They look perfect to me ~☆ For me it is not ideal. Here are the paintings of Ivan Shishkin (my favorite artist) which look ideal to me and I strive to paint as well. Spoiler Spoiler But he painted with oil paints, and I paint with acrylic, I don’t know if I will be able to learn to paint with acrylic as well. I have oil paints but they take too long to dry, I don’t want to paint for months. I will still paint with oil sometimes but not so often. I don't think my painting is very good. Another problem with my painting is that the ponies didn't turn out well enough. I usually draw ponies in a canonical style, but this time I deviated from the canon and it didn't turn out very well. You may think that I'm criticizing my painting too much, but I think this will help me avoid making mistakes when drawing future paintings. 3 1 1 T-90 tank
StaryStory 4,179 February 23 Share February 23 Oh, I understand what you're saying. But i also think it's not so fair to compare the two at this point, these paitings are a lot more detailed, different methods, materials, there's a lot more to it than just experience and time, your drawing feels simpler mostly due to the limitations, at least it's what I believe, also, color temperament really makes a difference, yours is more vivid while Shishkin's feel lifeless, that can add a extra tone of realism to it. About the ponies i can't really say much, maybe it's just your art style and you're testing new poses ~☆ 2 .

I am not very good at drawing these things. Those images you linked to the end made all the difference! Seeing the the details up close really helped. You were able to hid so much depht and 3D to that picture, to the grass and to the flowers. Seriously, you're into something here. Mountains and the sky as you said were little lacking, but this is some good stuff you're cooking. Have you thought trying some other ways/materials when painting, or perhaps combining them? Acrylics are good and all, but adding pencil or watercolors can help with the details. On 2025-03-29 at 4:05 PM, ComanderZhabikKlavik said: Hi everyone! Shadows and the sun rays in this one are really well done. One can sence the setting evening sun. Well done! 1

I use pencil, but I don’t like painting with watercolors I am glad that I managed to find time and paint a picture. Painting "Lyre in the forest". Spoiler Spoiler Photo at the beginning of the drawing, when I drew the sketch. I was inspired to create this picture by a fan art that I saw on the Internet. I think the color of Lyra can still fit because of the shadows, maybe :O 1 "People get built different. I still think that the color of the Lyra is not very suitable even because of the shadows You also need to consider that my phone camera renders the color a little incorrectly. In real life, the color looks a little different This is what color Lyra should have been: Spoiler 1 T-90 tank
ComanderZhabikKlavik 4,402 June 23 Author Share June 23 Attention! Achtung! Announcement: Hello everypony! Unfortunately this year and half of next year there will be no new paintings here or there will be few of them. I am currently preparing for the Unified State Exam, so I cannot devote time to art, but if I have time I will definitely draw something 2 T-90 tank
