Lyra Plushie Hair?

The Internet

Recommended Posts

I've begun to work on a plushie pony for Lyra, and I'm really liking how it's turned out so far. Except I've gotten to the point where she needs hair. I'm not quite sure how to do this... I'm using felt, by the way.

Any tips?

I'm no expert. So I don't know. But felt sounds good. :3

Gather up a lot of art of her to see the mane from different angles

Depends on if you want the mane to be 3-D or flat, but in either case gather a lot of pics and sketch it out

If you want it brushable, try the longer fake fur. Otherwise fleece works better than felt. If you are real brave use minky, it is really soft

I don't know much about plushies, but I must praise you for being brave enough to make a Lura plushie so soon after THAT Lyra plushie was made. Still, you may not have a lot of buyers, since everypony is a bit worried about being associated with...THAT Lyra plushie.

Oh, the stories I've heard about THAT Lyra plushie. Is it true that it can be used as an oven mitt?
