Yeah a lot of various comic and/or manga threads to be found, but I figured maybe trying a thread for the medium in all forms.

Individual issues, collected editions (Mostly how I think we get manga in the West), comic strips whether there are still newspapers with them, web comic strips, web comics.  Etc.

Anyway, to start, we get a crossover between the East and West coming from IDW this fall:

My summer stuff thus far with non-reads mixed in:

Except for Paws Volume 3, I've read the rest before via library checkouts.

Baby-Sitters Little Sister as well as Phoebe and Her Unicorn, read for much longer.

I've discovered this manga because it's 4Chan's semi-official mascot (at least back then). Honestly, I'm glad it was because that's how I know about it

What's that about? Reminds me of Azumanga Daioh, a slice of life comedy classic.

Perfect manga mention: Yotsuba is made by the same guy who made Azumanga Daioh.

It's basically like Azumanga Daioh, except it's focus on a little girl and the antics around her when she moved to a new town at the beginning of the series

Whether anyone here is into Strawberry Shortcake (Any version or just Berry in the Big City), Gail Simone not too long ago wrote the episode Crushing the Cosplay and some comic easter eggs:

Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei. It's a satire/slash social commentary. I like to think of it as being like the magic school bus but instead of focusing on science it's more about philosophy. It was really fun. I've read and reread more times that I can count over the years. I tried collecting all the volumes years back because I wanted them for my bookshelf. There are thirty volumes, the official English translation dropped it after fourteen. I was so disappointed.

I had already read through the entire series multiple times thanks to the fan translation but I really wanted to own them all.

*Le sigh* can't have nice things lol

It got an anime adaptation, I think a couple of seasons too. But I dropped it after episode one. It wasn't very good- the manga even makes jokes about it. It breaks fourth wall to talk about it coming then it's like, "Let's pretend that never happened." XD

I don't blame the author, I probably would have done the same. The pacing was too fast, it was like watching it on fast forward.
