WhimsicalHues 28 August 15 Share August 15 (edited) Hi! I’m looking to draw a couple characters in dynamic pose. I hope it does come off as rude, but since this will be free art, I want to set a couple requirements or rules just to keep from feeling overwhelmed later. I want to do these for those without well drawn art for their characters. I.e pony maker or non artist work. This gives me a little more freedom since I won’t subconsciously try to match the original style. It’s been a long time since I’ve really drawn ponies and I’m trying to master my own style first. If your character has distinctions that couldn’t be added, please include a detailed description. Please note that I may adjust the mane and tail styles but it won’t be too much. My art style includes black line work so the colors may also be adjusted for visibility purposes. And these are flat color only. This is also for practice drawing poses. Please include a detailed description of a pose or action that is in character for your pony to be doing. There won’t be any backgrounds for these pieces so please keep that in mind. Lastly, I most likely won’t be able to draw every pony so please don’t be disappointed if I don’t get to you. Thank you for reading and I hope I didn’t come off as rude or anything. Examples of my art are included. Please comment with the necessary information if interested. Edited August 18 by WhimsicalHues 3

Name: Amethyst-Dream Nickname: Ame Age: 23 Sex: Female Race: Half Zebra/Half Unicorn Sexual Standing: Bi Talent: Crafting spells into gems/stones or jewelry or metal smiting. Personality: Quick-witted, driven, mostly calm, tends to be laid back outside of her work, comes with a will tell how it looks on life, willing to help without asking a bit, kinda blunt.
ThePinkofPones 2,223 August 20 Share August 20 (edited) Could you try Lacewing here? The tail is meant to be an actual reformed changeling tail, the blue on the left wing, eyes, and back hooves is supposed to be cyan, but it ended up too dark in Ponytown. Lacewing is a reformed changeling who is quite introverted and shy, so he typically stays out of potentially dangerous situations. Pose? Fluttering in the air, like Scootaloo maybe? It'd be a nice pose to see Edited August 20 by ThatPinkPone

So I drew her making gems, figured she’d probably keep her mane out of her way while she worked so drew it in a messy loose bun. I like her cutie mark but also made another version with an edited mark. Hope you like it!

(Also two images in case you prefer a white background along with the specific pose cause scoot is too cute)

Snow 7,004 August 21 Share August 21 If I might throw my own hat in the ring A Pegasus stallion, mid 20s with an adventurous vibe about him, a light grey coat and a scruffy skater/surfer inspired dark grey mane. If his head isn't in the clouds he sure is and I if you are up for it maybe a cool flying pose? This strikes me as a cool pose but by all means please do whatever you are happy to do! I give you full digression with the pose and hair and I also do wonder if grey eyes instead of red would work in your opinion? I haven't spent any time working on a cutie mark so he can remain a blankflank for now 1 beans

I haven’t drawn a pony from this any before and when I was looking for more references I couldn’t resist doing a little wink

I do like the 2ed cutie mark but I feel the first fits her a bit more, maybe have add some sparked and not the frame work? Yet very lovely done!
