Prologue / Episode 1

 

Now this is the story all about how

My life got flipped, turned upside down

And I'd like to take a minute just sit right there

I'll tell you how I became the Princess called Night Mare

 

In Olde Equestria, foaled and raised.

In harmony with my sis was how I spent most of my days.

She brought the warm sun; I brought the pale moon,

And all round balance we two did attune.

 

When a couple of ponies couldn't see all my good.

Started sleepin' and snorin' my neighhhhborhood.

I got a little bitter and Celestia declared

And said "You're movin' to the moon. You're banished Luna, Nightmare."

 

C'mon sis. You're kidding, you're kidding right?

And after a thousand years, I wanted eternal night.

If anything I could say "Huzzah, the fun's been doubled."

But I thought, "Neigh... being unloved makes you troubled"

 

I pulled up to the Canterlot about seven or eight'er,

and I yelled to the ponies, "Yo foals, my power is greater!"

Looked at my kindgom. Take that Celestia!

To rule in darkness as Princess of Equestria.

Episode 1

 

 

Now, this is the story all about how

In the library was where I spent most of my days

Reading up, studying, working all cool

And practicing magic all around the school

when Nightmare Moon

Who was up to no good

Started making trouble in my neighhhbourhood

I told Celestia about the Elements, but then she did declare

She said "You're moving to Ponyville and make some new friends there"

 

I walked for a while and when ponies came near

They wanted make friends'n'party? It's crazy over here!

If anything I can say is that this place's a thrill

But I thought 'Neigh.. forget it' - 'Yo home to Ponyville'

 

I pulled up to the Evergreen forest about seven or eight'er

And I yelled to Nightmare 'Yo Night you're a hater'

I looked at my friends

I was finally there

To have learned there's more than magic in the life of a young mare.

I updated the original post with how it would sound when sung with the words.

 

I'm not a singer and have a very slurred way of normally talking so rather than getting more into the song and having no one know what I'm saying, I just tried to make the words clear even if it sounds a bit unemotional
