Which Studio Ghibli and Hayao Miyazaki movies do you think could have had the potential to be adapted into Generation 1 stories?

Copyright and loyalties aside, which movies by either of those two have the potential of being retold in Generation 1's animated series? Which would on a visual level, best fit the art style?

Kiki's Delivery Service or Castle in the Sky in my opinion! They both lend themselves to fantasy adventures with slight slice of life potential.

I don't know if it'd really have a lot a potential, but I think a G1 adaptation of Castle in the Sky would be really cool. Some settings and plot stuff might have to be edited (weapons, technology, etc.) but I think it could keep a lot of the same plot beats and look really neat in the style.
