Are you being attacked when someone criticizes your favorite show?

I feel if a person uses as a form of bulling and keeps commenting on it to make you look small over and over:  than yes.    Given I have had it happen a few times here and there for my love of anime and being a adult.   Most of the time to say,  most ppl just don't care.

I agree, if it's a criticism about the TV show, I don't really care, but if they start insulting an audience who like it, it's a different matter entirely and it becomes harassment. I don't see that going on this forum though, in other fandoms, sometimes yes, Youtube is also very poorly moderated and it doesn't take much for people to be baited into arguments, which is why some Youtubers turn their comments off on videos. Here it is generally more peaceful, what's also great here is adult Pegasisters and Bronies can get together here without being judged. In some public places we can be bullied if other people found out we liked My Little Pony.
