After the movie Transformer One, there has been an official announce from the CEO of Hasbro(i forgot the name) that the company's furture plan will be attending video game areas and stop investing for their ip's movies. They will also be slowly quitting the toy markets.

So maybe we will have official mlp video games?

1) Chris Cocks is his name and he's certainly living up to it given how much he's pissed off the several different fanbases under Hasbro properties(especially Power Rangers fans)

2) It's actually pretty frustrating how they're moving away from movies when they finally start getting good movies based on their properties. Seriously Transformers One is one of the best movies this year and I heard very good things about the last DnD movie

3) Where on earth did you hear they're slowly quitting toys? That's like Nintendo abandoning video games or Disney abandoning movies. It's literally their bread and butter

4) We've already been having video games but they've been of dubious quality. Maretime Bay Adventure, Zephyr Heights Mystery, Cyberverse Battlegrounds, Earthspark Expedition, Operation Blackout, all range from insipid to just straight bad. There's been some outliers but even those have some caveats. Baldur's Gate 3 was a masterpiece but they let Larian Studios break off from them and I don't see them coming back. Transformers Reactivate has been in development hell for years now and it's a live service game, so it's basically doomed. OTOH, Power Rangers Rita's Rewind looks very good and I'm still surprised it's happening, especially with how they've been treating the franchise as of late

5) I would like to believe this would lead to actually good MLP games, but unfortunately it's a franchise based on a girl's toy property, which companies rarely take seriously in regards to video games, so a chance of a good game is smaller than winning the lotto. Heck they had a good chance to change that with FiM especially with WayForward being up to the task but they were turned down in favor of mobile crap. But I would love to be wrong in this case

6) Just relist the High Moon TF games and Devastation and put them on modern consoles and I will be satisfied

The mini games etc. might not be the best but those MLP games ran well on my PlayStation at least so I'm happy about that.
