Google / Reddit How you became a fan of My Little Pony I have been a fan since FIM season 1 first aired. A friend of mine at work told me about how great it was. It had shaped me into a better person and I have loved it ever since! Hello! I am so happy this exists and there are others that are currently active! What can I do to be active and be part of this community? I would like to get to know people and be among kindred spirits! I am new to this site and need to the pony community as a whole! What My Little Pony FIM taught me is not to be ashamed of liking something just because others may despise us for it. Before I got into MLP FIM, I was already aware of the prejudices fans were dealing with, people getting bullied and called names. After watching the show up until season 5, although I saw a few episodes beyond that season, though I should rewatch the whole thing in sequence, I found out just how endearing the show was, and it does bring good feelings when I watch it, empathy and unity is something I wished the real world had a lot more of. 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Best suggestions has always been a consistent one: Be respectful, be genuine, be kind, understand that there is a real person behind the profile pic of a pony and not just some icon or AI you can lie to or mess with. Since the birth of this forum you will find that it is the respectful connections that have thrived the most. Kindness is appreciated here and most often reciprocated so long as it is not confused for weakness or something to abuse. :v Hope my advice was good and not too blunt but sometimes bluntness can work, as well. Either way, welcome. Staff is active and always willing to help or answer questions. Hope you enjoy your stay here. Most importantly, just enjoy the pony fandom and engaging activities. As long as you're respectful and generally friendly you should get along with everyone just fine. In my (albeit limited) experience, interacting with other topics/conversations is a great way to meet others.
