Found a link while trying to find a way to watch the final episode of Make Your Mark How you became a fan of My Little Pony Way back in the mid-80s I was friends with a girl down the street. She had all the ponies, and I had to watch the show to figure out how to play the characters right. I then proceeded to forget all about them until the late 90s when I caught them on the Disney channel. I ended up buying a couple VHS tapes of the episodes from someone on the early interwebs. I ended up eventually getting the G1 DVD set, and most of the G3 videos before giving up on them. I've always been a fan of animation, and was so excited when I saw ads for FiM, and tuned in from day one. It wasn't until some time in the middle of the first season that I realized how much it had blown up online. I then drifted away, but have watched through the show recently and most of Make Your Mark. And now here I am. Twenty characters, eh? I was born in the '90s and probably could have seen them, but they were never on TV and no one I knew at the time played with them so I never really found out about mlp until season 3 of gen 4 was already being made.
