Creative Resources

Share tips and tricks on creating beautiful music, intriguing fan fiction, or stunning drawings. Or ask for requests and hone your skills!

Hope that helps ^_^

This actually isn't a bad idea. With how many requests there are, this could prove potentially useful.

Of course, there is a point where things become too organized.

That's kind of what creative resources is made for, one of the things anyway

Yes, but creative resources was originally called "Art Discussion." It's still used similarly today, and includes much more then just art requests. Although requests do take up a very large portion of it, it's also where people place their WIP or planning for things. That's why I thought it may be a good idea, but like I said before. There is a point where it reaches too many sections. So it may not be necessary.

I don't see the point in making any subforums, or making a new forum for requests altogether. I agree with Marco. It's Creative Resources. Requests is one of the things that go there. It's in the description, and referenced to in the title with 'resources'. Resources-things you acquire.

Whatever it was called or used for in the past doesn't matter imo, it fits the role for what it is now, which is anything media/art/requests related, to me. IMO.

Creative Resources is the best place for this.

Considering the rise we've recently had in commissions threads, however, I think I may look into adding a dedicated section for approved commissioning artists to sell their wares. I think we've also got a few members taking free requests - perhaps we could use prefixes to combine the two?

At any rate, I think you're generally more likely to get your request done by asking an artist who is taking requests (whether in the form of free ones or commissions) to do it for you, rather than posting a "Someone, please draw my OC!" thread.
