I don't consider myself as "watching YouTubers" as it's uncommon for me to sit down and watch vids anyway (I prefer text) but there are channels I generally enjoy and take seriously enough to consider watching when the mood strikes; those usually are philosophy/politics, psychology or music related, media analysis and/or video essays. But if I feel like I'm being marketed to I check out, enough fakers in this world as is. If I can't trust someone to be genuine in their character it clouds my judgement of them too much to consider their videos seriously. 1 "None are more hopelessly enslaved than those who falsely believe they are free."
