How did you find MLP Forums?

Surprisingly, through PonyFM!

How you became a fan of My Little Pony

So... how did I discover MLP?

It was a stormy night in 2016... Okay not really.  I discovered this musician I fell in love with called Aviators.  Once I dug into his older discography, I found a slew of MLP themed content and it sent me down this rabbit hole over the coming years of pony musicians.  Deleted Pony Songs, PrinceWhateverer, 4Everfreebrony, ponyphonic, many others, and imo the best musician of our generation, the almighty Vylet Pony!

Okay, but then what?

I did try to get into the show a few times with no luck.  My earliest time hearing about "bronies" was when I was in middle school, and a classmate famously watched the show every morning when we arrived early.  I kind of existed in my own world back then socially.  That did all change in 2016 when I bumped into the furry fandom though and it set me on this lovely course of becoming a full blown extrovert.  I've met many current and former bronies over the years, and about a year ago one convinced me to watch the show all the way through with them.  We still have the very last episodes of Season 9 to watch, but we are saving those for when we meet face to face again later this year.

And guess what happened next!

A big shocker! As the series went on, I utterly fell in love.  I had this impression that people preferred the earlier seasons, but actually found myself far enjoying the later ones as the show became more serialized.  By Season 6 or 7, I was beyond hooked.  By Season 8, I already had vague concepts of my own pony OC.  I never was one much for the idea of being a "human" in the pony world, but I loved fitting in with my own character and began dreaming of my own adventures in the silly magical world.  Literally as of a week ago or so, I kind of fully opened the door wide open and realized just how much I love this damn world.  I've become unashamedly a hardcore fan of my little pony and chose to become actively involved in the community instead of just being a passive fan of the music and art.

Antonymph Mode... Activate!

I spent an entire morning doodling over a free pony base online to nail some colors and passed off my concept pieces of it and my cutiemark to an artist named Nilla who is making me a ref sheet in the style of the G4 show.  I had begun keeping a basic sort of "dream journal" in the event I wanted to turn my adventures of Maplehoof, who adopts the chosen name of Stargazer, into a full novel project over on fimfiction.  Turns out, that's exactly what I wanted to do.  In the span of 8 days, I've called upon my years of casual writing and crafted nearly 20,000 words across it's first two chapters.  It's a piece of literary fiction so it is quite worse-dense, and even if some of my peers don't fully believe it'll cross the finish line, I've been doing creative projects for over 10 years- I know when I'm committed to seeing something through.  It's a deeply personal project to me, and one I'm excited to craft and share with the pony community.  Socially, I've spent my time active in the PonySky discord community and I hop on Pony Town at least once a day and often while I'm writing.  Most of my non-pony friends are very much aware of my new magical horse interests, and I've borderlined screamed "friendship is truly magic holy crap" from my virtual rooftop a few times.  I have genuinely not been nearly as chipper as I have been since I got involved in the pony community in a very long time, and I've met some utterly wonderful people already.  The PonySky discord server has been a true bastion of positivity too.

Oh my! How retro!

If there was a social epitath on my grave when I die, it'd very much be "Better Late Than Never".  I got into Minecraft in like 2013, just past it's original prime.  I got into the internet and forums in the late 2010s, when they were on their way out.  I got into Halo around the time Halo Reach/4 were a thing, once again missing the "peak" era of the community/franchise.  I've always been fashionably late to the party, and that's something I just kind of own up to now.  Sure, this G4 series started half my lifespan ago and ended.. I won't even say out of respect for this stellar community.  We don't need that kind of pain <3.  But still, there's a dedicated community still alive and kicking and I couldn't be happier with what I've found here.  When I first got into the furry fandom, I was a hardcore user of the Fur Affinity Forums which unfortunately shut down their doors a few years ago.  I've never been one for most mainstream social media, pretty much limiting myself to bluesky and discord as my serious platforms, but I've always had a comfort in the old style internet that mostly predated my time.  It seems like a simpler era, where big websites weren't all run my corporate overlords and there was a much more individual feel to the places you visited.  For all their flaws, it's why I'll vastly prefer places like Fur Affinity to Deviant Art or Bandcamp and PonyFM to Spotify which I've literally never used.  As real world events continue to escalate to a less free internet, I'm so thankful a place like this exists where I can still socialize and nerd out.

What else about me?

I have to fill in this box too, and since I've mostly been using the above section, I'll keep this one brief.  Outside of ponies, I'm a multiform creator that has mostly spent time making 3D outfits/assets for VRChat and doing work as an archivist/historian for the furry community.  I'm also a big fan of many video games including Halo, Mass Effect, and Bethesda's catalog (Yes, even Starfield).  I have an insatiably wanderlust for the world that unfortunately I don't get to indulge super often, but I usually try to make it to one convention per year. There's a good change for 2026 I'll pivot to a pony con like Ciderfest instead.  If someone it wasn't obvious by now, I am a masssive fan of astronomy and cosmology and I have been since I was a little kid.  I keep an open door for dms and I love meeting new people!  If you wanna nerd out or just vibe, feel free to chat.  I'm almost very socially adaptive to the kinds of people I'm around, although of course if you're a naughty babs seed I'll probably just leave.

But yeah, I won't make this little biography run any longer.  I'm happy to be here! Ponies Forever!
