Abaddon 95 July 15, 2012 #1 Share July 15, 2012 Since about midnight every time I click the notifications button it starts to load, then stops and presents me with a white bar. The entire site hangs for a minute or two during the backup as the database is locked to ensure backup integrity. I imagine this is the "problem" you're experiencing as it sounds like this happens regularly at the same time every night. The backup usually takes less than a minute. If you're in the middle of reading an engrossing thread, you wouldn't even notice it.
