I must say, though, that "Hush now, quiet now" sounds strange in the beginning, mostly because the original song and your song are in different time signatures/tempos. Through the whole thing, the beat keeps things together. The ambiance of the melody really keeps the song in interesting mood. I'd give this a 7/10. Nice improvement.
