I was very excited when I found out "The Gate to the Minds Eye" had been uploaded on YouTube. I wanted to see if anyone else watched this as a 90's kid, and what your thoughts are on its animation for its time, musical interpretation, and overall...the messages...the hundreds of messages hidden inside it.

Why am I posting this on MLP forums in General discussion? Well, this is one of those musical videos that really...creates deep thinking, for lack of a better phrase. Plus, my Dad and I used to watch it when I was a kid, and it was also a bonding moment.

I thought some of you might enjoy this as well if you had not seen it. Thomas Dolby, IMO, never got the exposure he deserved for his talent and music.

Again, its quite strange, but the uniqueness and amount of symbolism makes it one of my favorites.
