-a young draconequus has been flying all day and night trying to find a new place he can call home. The young creature comes across a small town in the distance. He makes his descent into the forests edge next to the town (everfree forest) but unfortunately passes out from sheer exhaustion during his decline, landing near the forests edge next to a small cottage, knocking him unconscious, only to await an arrival from some caring ponies-

Snow Flake and Cherry Blossom had went out in the morning to pick some strawberries when they stumble across an unconscious draconequus. "Hey look!" Cherry Blossom said as he trotted over to the downed draconequus. "Oh the poor thing is unconscious, we can't just leave it here." Cherry Blossom said as Snow Flake trotted over to them. "Alright then." Snow Flake replied as he carried the draconequus on his back. They all headed back to Ponyville.

-the small draconequus was knocked out cold, he didn't even feel the impact of the earth, or the two wings that had been broken during the fall. He only lay there on they pegasi's back, completely unknowing that he was being taken back to ponyville, he just lay there in a dark daze-

Snow Flake put the draconequus on a couch. "Looks like the poor fellow crashed and broke his wings." Snow Flake said as he went over to grab a few ingredients for medical uses. "Oh the poor thing. Do you think your herbs can help him?" Cherry Blossom asked as she attempted to use a healing spell. Snow Flake place chopped up various plants and placed them on damaged areas. "I can bandage up his wings, but they will have to heal on their own. said Snow Flake as he put a blanket over the draconequus.

- The young creature only groaned as he slept on the couch, he could feel the pain in his wings as he was asleep. The Draconequus tossed and turned due to the sharp strikes of pain that he felt in his wings, it was almost as if he was in a nightmare. He started breathing heavily as he only flopped on his back trying to escape the pain, only to cause more. The creature flailed on the couch furiously from the torment he felt on his back, violent coughing and breathing started to occur as he was put in agony.

Golden Dream saw the Draconequus toss around in pain. She went over to him and started trying to relax him by putting a hoof on his forehead. "Hush now, quiet now It's time to lay your sleepy head. Hush now, quiet now It's time to go to bed." Cherry Blossom started singing to the creature to, calm him down as much as possible. "Hmm...Where could that Draconequus fell from?" Snow Flake thought to himself as he tokk a platter full of fruits and placed them on the table for the Draconequss.

-When Cherry Blossom placed her hoof on his head, he calmed down rapidly, her singing made him lay still and made him go back to sleep with struggling or pain. The young Draconequus slept peacefully until the next morning, when he had no strength whatsoever to lift a finger.- "Uhhhhh.... where am I?" He tried saying more words but he was so exhausted and starving, he couldn't bear to speak anymore.

"You're in our house at the west side of Ponyville." Cherry Blossom replied as continued to comfort the Draconequus. "You look pretty starved, here have some fruit." Snow Flake said as he handed the Draconequus the platter with apples and strawberries. "So what's your name?" Cherry Blossom asked.

"My name... is Deviant... hello..." Deviant took the platter and slowly nibbled on the fruit, he was too weak to chew fast "How did i get here? I remember i was flying then everything went black.... ouch...." He took another bite of an apple on the platter, slowly but surely he was eating and regaining his strength. He was completely unaware of his broken wings, his mind focused on the food.

"Well we found you unconscious on the edge of the Everfree Forest." Snow Flake replied as he gave Deviant some more fruit. "Are you feeling okay?" Cherry Blossom asked as she started combing Deviant's mane.

"uhh.... ouch... I hurt all over, mainly on my back... what happened?" Said Deviant as he ate more fruit, "why can't i feel my wings? what happened to them? Ouch...." Deviant tried to stretch out his wings but a sharp striking pain shot in his back, "AHHH!!!" He couldn't even move his wings due to the bandage wrapped around them.

"We assumed that you crashed and broke your wings. We bandaged up your wings but you have to wait until they fully heal to use them." Cherry Blossom replied as she tried to calm Deviant down.

Deviant was in panic, "How am i supposed to go anywhere without using my wings!? Im stuck here until they heal, how long will it take!?" Deviant was on the verge of tears from the immense pain coming from his wings, that and the thought that he couldn't use them for a while.

"Don't cry, it may be weeks for your wings to heal but at least you can walk." Cherry Blossom said as she hugged deviant, her horn started to glow when put a pain suppression spell on his wings. "Hey relax buddy, it's not like you've lost your wings forever." Snow Flake replied.

Deviant was surprised when he was hugged by Cherry Blossom, "Why are you guys helping me anyway? does my appearance not scare you?" Deviant started to calm down as Cherry Blossom comforted him, "Don't i look just like him? the first Draconequus that had met ponies" Deviant tilt his head down in despair when he said this

"Well yes but you look so younger than him and you were hurt, but we couldn't just leave you." "You don't really look like the type that would cause any trouble." they both replied as they smiled at Deviant.

"r-really?" Said deviant as he replied in awe, Deviant still put his head down "Yeah i do look just like him, sadly... he's the reason why most ponies run away in terror of me, they all think I'm just like him..." a single tear ran down Deviants cheek as he said this.

Cherry Blossom wiped the tears from Deviant's face and said "I'm sure a lot ponies will like you, hmm... Hey I'm sure Fluttershy would like to meet you!" "Yeah, I mean it's pretty cool to get to meet a Draconequus." they both replied as they offered him a cup of juice.

Deviant looked up at the two of them "Who's Fluttershy?" Deviants Tail brushed side to side and up and down to show that he was happy some ponies were actually not terrified of him. Deviant took the cup of juice and slowly drank it. As he continued talking to the two ponies.

"Oh she's a very friendly pegasus here at Ponyville, why don't we take you out to meet her?" "Yeah that sounds like a great idea!" the ponies replied as they tried to continued conversing with Deviant.

"ok if you say so, but lets not show any pony who i am yet they may not be ready" Deviant stood up and covered his face and most of his body with the blanket that was wrapped around him. "please... lead the way" He was well hidden under his homemade cloak, you couldn't even tell it was a draconequus, unless you saw the tail that peaked out the bottom of the blanket.

They took him outside and started going towards Fluttershy's cottage. "I don't think we've introduced ourselves yet, I'm Cherry Blossom and that's Snow Flake. Cherry Blossom said as they both smiled at Deviant.

"Nice to meet you Snow flake, and Cherry Blossom" Deviant stayed close to the two while they walked through Ponyville streets, only to hide just in case another pony caught sight of him or his tail dragging behind him, "so how far does she live from here?"

"Not too far, maybe just a couple of blocks from here." Snow Flake replied as they continued to Fluttershy's cottage. "So where are you from? Las Pegasus? Stalliongrad? Fillydelphia?" Cherry Blossom asked.

Deviant looked down as he responded "umm.... nowhere... I don't have a home..." Deviant started to slow down in pace to keep up with Cherry Blossom and Snow Flake, He got on all fours and kept pace with the two. "I don't have one because... every pony is scared of me you know?" He looked up at Cherry Blossom with big eyes as he said this.
