I'm 20, currently a student at Penn State University, and I've been a fan of MLP:FiM since sometime last October. I found out about the show through TVtropes, and started watching around when the fourth episode was aired. So, I'm also an aspiring writer, science fiction and fantasy fan, and I enjoy a good anime every now and then (Neon Genesis Evangelion, anyone?). I've also taken a great interest in science, philosophy, and the history of religions. Anyway, it's great to be here! I love writing also, I'm trying to become better at fiction and fanfiction but it's been a slow process. I heard about the launch of this place on 3DSforums and waited until it was so (of course I wasn't able to see it through because I had to go to bed). Your interests are largely similar to mine, except I'm 19 and enrolled part time online at Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design. I didn't start watching until mid September when I figured, "What the hay?" (no pun intended) and decided look up a review of the show , since I avoided looking up the show for a LONG time before watching. Based on the reviewer's impressions, the cartoon was actually great, a surprise when thinking of any intellectual property under the name My little Pony (males have a natural stigma/disdain tastes against that name for undermined reasons ) I write though I actually aim to be a cartoonist/animator. I like anime, though I have been looking at other cartoons to broaden my tastes, FiM being my favorite cartoon at the moment. So on and so, I won't keep you... Again, welcome to the forums (or the herd)! WATCH OUT FOR THE POISONJOKE!
