Darkheart looks at Surge sternly. No Surge. I'm not going to break you. Or kill you. I'm going to teach you. You have made decisions in your life that you and I both know you are not proud of. You and I both know what is the right of way here. Surge... you have to listen to me. What have Celestia and Luna ever done for you? When the cities of Manehatten and Fillydelphia fell, who did they send? Their troops. what have they actually done to assist in this war? And perhaps now a sentiment more close to your heart. When your son was captured, who did anything? If I recall I don't remember ever encountering any rescue parties looking for him... They don't care about you Surge. Or your family. They are only in this war for themselves. Now that you have been educated you have a choice. You may return to the princesses who deceived you. I won't stop you. Or you can stay with us. And help us take them and their ways down. I promise your friends and family will not be harmed.

 

Church drops Die Hard on the nearest medical bed and quickly explains what happened at Fillydelphia. But that's not all that happened. When she was speaking I sensed an aura coming from her and the gem. This causes me to believe they are linked in some way. I remember reading something a while ago that mentioned the elements of Chaos. If I am correct than they are in possession of all of them. Except for our friend Die Hard here. We will see what happens when he awakes but I fear if he returns to the Tartarus we may lose this war

The tartarus forces arrived at dragon mountain. Jacob walked up and yelled " I know you equestrians are hiding in the mountain. Surrender now or we will come up there and kill you." Jacob let his voice echo up into the mountains. From the top of the mountain Rainbow Dash yelled " Well never surrender to Tatarus."

Surge had to sit and think on this one. Darkheart had a good point. She walked in a circle around him as he talked it out. No one came to save my son. No one came to help me when you took over my home. Even now......who knows if they are looking for me. They have only asked and taken from me, but never given back to me. Surges color starts to turn to a darker green. They never came to my aid when i needed them. All they did was put me in charge of all their dirty work. Surge looks at Darkheart. I have a favor to ask of you. Take me home to Black Water City.

Applejack walked around the cave. What are we gonna do now? I know we've got spike and all but they have an army! I hope you and Twilight have a plan.

 

Darkheart nods. Through this gateway. On the other side is your home town as you well know. Does this mean you have made a decision Surge?

"We have traps set up all over the mountain and if worse come's to worse we can cause a rockslide." Jacob recognized that it was Rainbow dash who refused to surrender. "If it isnt the element of harmony user Rainbow dash, you escaped me in Manehatten but i'll make sure not to make the same mistake twice. Take them out." Soldiers brought out ten esquestrian prisonners in chains and lined them in a row. Jacob spoke "Im feeling generous, I will give you all ten of these prisonners for Rainbow dash." Rainbow dash leaned from the top of the mountain to see the prisonners, she said " What do I do? " Fluttershy said "OH No this is just awful." "Rainbow dash you can't do this, we cant use the elements of harmony without you" Rainbow Dash replied "But I cant just leave them there."

Celestia and Luna looked to Diehard on the medical bed. Hes been brain washed and broken by black magic. We might be able to fix it and bring the old him back. The princesses put their horns on his head and chest and start a purification spell. Diehard starts to flail around as they dispelled the darkness out of him. AHHHHHHHHHHHHGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!! STOP!! YOUR KILLING ME!!! AGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!

 

Razor looked down at what was going on. Hey Spike you think you got some fight in you? Spike gave a grin to Razor. ONLY IF YOU CAN KEEP UP! Lets do it then! They both fly down the mountain side. Spike give me some smoke. Spike then blows out a cloud of smoke that covers Jacob and the ten troops. Lets get go! Razor then did a war boom to the ground and started to kill off the other troops. Spike how bout some fire here!! YOU GOT IT!! Spike set the trees a blaze at the foot of the mountain.

 

As Surge looked at the ruin of his old home he remembered what he fights for. But at the same time he remembered when no one came to his aid. Sigh.........Ill join you for now. But after that i want something from you in return.

Darkheart could feel her darkness beginning to seep into Surge. She decides to seal the deal. Surge. I know what you want. And you can have it all. This what you could have. She then presses her horn against Surges forehead and gives him a vision. A vision of his home restored back to it's former glory. Surge can see himself there too. He can see himself with both of his boys at his sides in their old house. Everything is as it should be. You see surge? You fight with us and you could have your life back. I will restore everything for you if you will fight for us. Will you do it?

 

Church is worried about Die Hard. Will this hurt him? I don't want to take a chance of him dying. we need him to win this war. Equestria needs him.

 

Applejack, once again being the voice of reason, runs after Spike and Razorwing. Hey y'all get back here! They have hostages and by the looks of it they aren't afraid to get rid of 'em!

Jacob grabbed the nearest prisoner and dragged him out of the smoke. "coughing.....They have a dragon. Soldiers aim at the dragons wings, if it can't fly away we can kill it and if you see the prisonners kill them." Jacob pulled out his dagger and held it to the hostage's neck, ready to kill him if anyone approched him or tryed to do anything funny. Rainbow Dash turned to Applejack and sayed "This is are only chance to save the hostages" She flew down into the smoke and gatherd the hostages. She called out "Spike come here let the hostages get on your back."

I said ill fight for you. But my home is not what i wanted from you. Surge turns to Darkheart and gets in her face. No. I want you. You may have a dark heart but at least you have one. He keeps walking forward until he backs Darkheart to a wall. I have heard that you are dark temptress, and i think im liking it. As his coat of green got darker and his eyes started to glow.

 

Diehard hard had passed out from the pain of the darkness being removed from him. His coat started to change from black to his natural brown color and his eyes changed back as well. There was a lot of darkness in him. Yes there was but we got it all. As the princesses caught their breath. He should be fine when he wakes up. Nova i need your help getting back to my room.

 

Razor sees Jacob and rushes at him. I wont let you take anymore of my troops lives. Tackles Jacob off the troop and goes into a stand off with Jacob. Oh you dont know how long iv been waiting for this. The first time we met you took something that was very close to me. As they circle each other. You will pay....For killing my mother!!! Razor lets out the blades on his wings and two hoof blades.

 

Abyss and Lighting were trying to bring back WW. I need you back my child.

Church leaves Die Hard to rest but he continues to talk to Celestia. My lady although we have restored Die Hard, It came at a hefty price. Surge.... He sacrificed himself to save Die Hard. There was nothing I could do. Darkheart's magic was holding me back. I believe we should send rescue parties to find him. However it is your choice. What is your insight?

 

Darkheart was shocked at Surge. I... I don't understand. You... want... me? What do you mean? I've given you some of my dark power and I didn't have to force you like i did with Die Hard... This is intriguing. I wonder if Abyss will know what's happening. Follow me Surge. I want you to meet my sister. I see a bright, or should I say dark, future for you Surge. You will do great things for this war.

 

Applejack didn't like doing nothing so she decides to help. She grabs a lasso from under her hat and begins to rope hostages from afar. Alright stop strugglin' You're safe now. Fluttershy see if you can get some of your wildlife friends to help out!

Surge begins to feel the darkness run through his vanes. Oh no Darkheart...I only want you for now. Pulling her back from the portal and tossing her into the wall. Oooooo this feels sooooo good. And i want more of it. So ill just take yours. Surge walks over to Darkheart slowly as he pulls in her dark aura. Your going to give me what i want. Looks at the portal behind him and closes it with his mind. And nothings going to stand in my way.

What Surge did not know was due to the overexpose to the Darkheart's Soul Gem it put a lust for darkness in his heart. And he would not stop till he had his fill.

Im going to make you my darkheart. He said with his hoof to her neck as he looked dead in the eyes.

 

As Celestia went to take a seat. Well my dear Church we should try to find Surge at all cost. He knows so much about us and i dont want them to get in his head and find vital information on us.I want you to go with Slick Skies and go back to Filly and make sure we have that post. Then come back to Ponyvill and remain in the city for back up. We will have to hope Diehard can still recall any in-tell about Tartarus and their battle plans.

Darkheart begins to let her anger get to her but she keeps her cool. If she can talk Surge out of this she may still have an ally. Surge... You're beginning make me angry... I am older than time and am literally made of darkness. It would destroy you before you finished. I'm giving you one last chance to let me go before I show you why I am the element of rage. It won't be pretty.

 

Church nods. Yes my lady. I will take reinforcements to Filldelphia. But please promise me that you will send troops to look for Surge. I'm afraid of what may happen to him. Come on Slick. We have a city to save.

As Jacob circled Razor " Razorwing your a fool, your troops are as good as dead, you can't save them and look you pretty much gave me Rainbow dash. without her the elements of harmony wont work. Your out numbered and the longer you stay here the lower your chances of survival become. I want to show you something." Jacob took off his cape with one hoof while holding his dagger in the other. He showed razor his cutie mark of a brain. " Im the first general of Tatarus not because of my fighting skills, im actually quite weak. Im first general because I know how to crush my ennemis using strategy. Lets say that hypothetically you manage to save your soldiers. They still have injuries, they havent eaten for a full day, and they'll slow you down enought for me to find and kill you all. And about your mother I only kill ponies when it has some benefit to me, so your mother died to help the Tartarus forces." Jacob said that last comment to force an attack out of Razorwing and it worked. When Razorwing charged Jacob trew his cape on him then ran away into his army."Safety in numbers Razorwing, Soldiers kill them all" The Tartarus forces were advancing on Spike, Rainbow dash and Razorwing. Unicorn ponies were shooting at Spike one of the magic blast hit one of the prisonner's killing him. The earth-ponies began to move in. And pegasus ponies were charging at Rainbow dash.

 

Rainbow Dash managed to kill a couple of the pagasus's but she was beginning to get overwealmed. Twilight was shooting fire spells from the mountain. Fluttershy called on some birds to distract the ennemis. They flew down and flew around soldiers distracting them."Hurry and come back up here before it's to late."

[The Razor Wing 879]

As the fight at dragon mountain went on Tartarus forces started to make their way up the mountain. Oh no look! They are coming up the mountain. Good thing i brought my party cannons. Pinkie then lined the edge of the drop off looking down the mountain with her cannons. Now lets get this party started!!! FIRE!!! She shot a hail storm of gifts at the troops. But these were not just any normal gifts, these gifts were real party bombs. BA'BOOM!!! HAHA Time for the big guns. She then pulled out a cupcake cannon with three spinning barrels on it. BRING IT ON!!!

 

Rairty watched Pinkie as she did things as only Pinkie could do. Well i suppose a ladies got to do what a ladies got to do. She then starts to use her gem magic to pull gems out of the side of the mountain making spike pits and impaling troops as they came up the mountain. Oh this is so unladylike. And i could have used those gems for something else.

 

Razor cut his way through Jacobs cape just see he had fled and was now surround by Tartarus troops. Fine then. If this is how you want it then bring it. ILL TAKE YOU ALL ON!!! He then starts to fight for his life. In thought. I will kill you Jacob. If its the last thing i do. I will have my retribution.

 

Surge smile evilly at Darkheart and leans in to her ear and whispers. You may be the element of rage my dear. But as you said there are things im not proud of. But with this new found darkness i just want more of it. You want to know what my element is princess? Greed. And i want it all. Surge forces himself on to Darkheart to pull in more of her power.

 

Abyss was getting this strange feeling. And her orb and gem were glowing like crazy. Something is not right here. This has only happened once before and that was eons ago. What seems to be the matter my Lady? Abyss looks at the jewels as they start to pulsate wildly. Lighting take over fixing WW. I need to go back home. There has been a change in the elements. And i think.......i think Darkheart may be in trouble.

 

Back in Canterlot Diehard wakes up yelling. DAD NO!!! As he looked around he say this was not the battle field anymore, or Tartarus. Where am i? Man my head hurts. Looks at his fur on his arm. Im......im......me again.

[Lightning Fluttershy 1,844]

Darkheart couldn't contain her anger any longer. As Surge continued to try to steal her power her eyes begin to glow a solid, glowing red, and her voice became that of the ways of old. Like how Luna used to speak. You have angered a god mortal! Prepare to be destroyed for your crimes. I gave you a chance Surge. And you failed. Behold the true power of darkness! As she says that she begins to levitate. She also begins to emit the aura that she did at Fillydelphia. Her gem then levitates and fits into place on her crown. AHHHHH! She lets out a scream and a blinding flash of light. It decimates the landscape around them. There is nothing left of Black Water City. However when she is finished she sees Surge still standing there... with a bright red forcefield around him. What? Who could have made that? Surge isn't a unicorn so not him...

 

As Church moves into the city he sees that there are a few traps still left standing. Good. I'll see if I can set a few more in the meantime. I want the ten of you troops to position the south side. You ten to the east, you ten to the west, and you ten to the north. Just then Church sees the blinding light from Black Water and begins to run towards Canterlot. Slick you stay here and fight off any Tartarus you see. I'll report to the princesses what I saw. I fear things may be starting to pick up in this war.

Surge looks at Darkheart with a smirk on his face. Dont you see princess this is.......Just then a loud booming voice came from the smoke. DARKHEART!! WHERE ARE YOU!! As Abyss clears the smoke with a mighty flap of her wings she spots her sister. WHAT IS GOING ON HERE! WHY HAVE YOU RETURNED TO THIS CITY!! AND WHAT IS HE DOING HERE!! As she point at Surge still surrounded by the red force field. Then Surge looks up at the two princesses. Oh this is just great. I have more power than i thought. What have you done Darkheart? I felt your pain in your gem. What did he do to you? Oh no Abyss its more of what has she done to me. She have shown me the darkness and im loven it. She even activated my element......Greed. And i want more power. As the princesses looked at field around him. I know i did not do that. Thats not even my aura. How much power did he get from you? As Abyss grabbed Darkheart. Surge then starts to speak. Dont you see Abyss. Your sister has given me all i ever wanted. And what she does not know is that she cant kill what she created. Abyss looks at Surge shocked to see that he knows that. Darkheart is lost. Why else do you think you could not kill my son? Because you made him. You put you darkness in him and thats what kept him from dieing. So that force field you saw.....yea you did make it. Because you where made from your fathers heart anything you put your heart into you cant kill. Its your own fail safe. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Abyss looks at Surge and walks slowly toward him. Im amazed at how much you know......for and earth pony. And your resolve is admirable....Even if it is misguided. But there is one thing you dont know. Surge raises his eyebrow You are just a vessel. Abyss then opens a portal and pulls WW's body out of it. And now i take it from you. As she puts her horn on Surge all the darkness starts to drain out of him. His normal green coat starts to come back. No! Stop!!! I NEED THIS POWER!! Once all the darkness was gone Surge was dazed and did not know where he was. All he could see was three ponies standing in front of him. WW. Drop him back off in Filly. Yes my master. WW opens up a portal and pusses Surge through it. Abyss then looks at Darkheart with a disappointed look on her face. You should have known better. If you knew how he was before why would you do it anyway? As Abyss walks back through her portal. You never feed a greedy spirit. They are like parasprites for power. Now come with me. We still have a war to win. And where is Deathdealer? And why was Surge here?

Jacob yelled "Focus on Rainbow Dash, dont let her get away." The remaining prisonners got on Spike's back. He said " HOLD ON. " Spike flew them back into the moutain. Rainbow Dash was about to retreat back into the mountain, but a shot of magic hit her wing causing her to fall to the ground a few feet away from Razorwing. She hit her head on the ground pretty hard causing her to fall unconsious. Soldiers were approching them. Jacob smiled as Rainbow dash fell. "Bring her to me alive, kill her if necessary."

Razor felt a thud behind. As he turned around he saw it was.....Dash! Are you ok? Come on wake up. He sees that she is out cold and that more troops were moving in for the kill. Back away from her! More troops start to pour in. Razor could not fight them off forever. For the good of Equestria. Razor jumps on top of Dash like and pony shield to protect her from the attacks. Im going to feel this in the morning. As they beat and stab at razor's body and wings. His cries of pain could be heard at the top of the mountain.

 

As the others looked at Dash get shot down and Razor going to shield her. What should we do? My cannons wont reach that far. And im almost out of gifts and cupcakes. Ill see what i can do. As Rairty moves to the edge of the cliff she can see what they are doing to razor. He is so brave. Sacrificing his body to protect Dashy. What a gentlemen. She then charges up her horn. Oh i hope this works. This is the strongest gem magic i know. Her horn shined bright like a beckon. CRISTAL WALL!!! Just then a dome of diamond formed around Dash and Razor. Rairty was dazed. OoooOOOooooooOO.......That took more out of me then i thought. As she fell on to her red sofa that she summoned out of nowhere.

Church is about to enter the Equestrian Base Camp when he again senses something. Only it wasn't a flash or shake. A sound. What? That sounded like... Razor. There is only one way to tell for sure. An old spell I learned from an old priest. He focuses all of his magic into seeing through the eyes of Razorwing. By Celestia they need my help! When Church arrives at the mountain he sees a loosing fight for Equestria happening. Razor! Razor where are you! Twilight what is going on! Just then a squad of Tartarus begins to push through. You are a powerful mage like me right Twilight? I have a spell. A very powerful spell that will only work with two powerful unicorns. It could save us all but It may also be very devastating to us in return. We would not die... but we would come close. Will you help me?

 

Darkheart scowls at Abyss behind her back. I could've taken care of that my sister. He was mortal. I am a god. Do you think he would actually come close to harming me? I could feel him about to burst. His greed would've been his end. He would have taken too much darkness, and killed himself. As for DD he was taken by the Equestrians. As a trade for Surge. Surge is more talented, and most of all, he know their plans. I know what you are thinking about DD knowing our plans but I believe we can get him back... using his father.

Inside the dome of the diamond Rainbow Dash woke up. "uh my head hurts... Oh no Razor are you alright. We need to get you to Twilight, she can heal you." The Tartarus soldiers couldnt break the diamond. Jacob ordered the soldiers to drag the diamond all the way back into the Tartarus camp. On top of the mountain Twilight walked to Church " I dont care if it nearly kills us we can't just leave them there to die. What's the spell."

[Lightning Fluttershy 1,844]

Church nods. Alright Twilight. This will take a lot of power. We are going to freeze time. Hold my hooves please. Now concentrate and let your power be mine and mine will be yours... He notices Twilight's eyes begin to glow white and then his does the same. Together a bright flash comes from both of their horns. When it dims down only they are moving. Everyone else is frozen. Ugh... See what I mean? I'm beat. Alright Twilight we need to get them out of here. You grab two of our friends since you are smaller and I'll grab the rest. Together they get everyone to safety, away from the mountain. Ugh... I think I may pass out from exhaustion soon. Together they unfreeze time and they end up passing out after the spell. He sees Razorwing get up and look confused. Ha... Jacob is in for a suprise when he gets that diamond back to his camp and find no one in it... He then passes out along with Twilight.

Fluttershy was confused about where they were but she then notice's that Twilight and Church have passed out. "Oh no, we need to take them back to ponyville can you carry Twilight, Spike." Spike put Twilight on his back. Fluttershy carried Church's unconscious body toward's Poniville. The hostage's thanked them for being saved. Fluttershy walked to Rainbow Dash and explained to her how Razorwing protected her when she was unconscious. Rainbow Dash walked up to Razorwing. " Razor, thank you for protecting me. Let me help you. " She helped him walk back to Ponyville.

 

Back at dragon mounatin, the Tartarus soldiers made it to the top to find that no one was there. They reported back to Jacob. "What do you mean the mountain was empty." Jacob takes a moment to think. "They must have had an escape plan... Ok, set up a camp on the mountain. I want to greet Rainbow Dash properly once we get her out of that diamond. Without her the war tips in are favor." Jacob had no clue that Rainbow Dash wasnt in the diamond anymore. When they finally broke the diamond open Jacob saw that it was empty. " No that's impossible I saw her get trapped in the diamond. Damn it, she got away again."

Razor was in bad shape. He still had some of the blades sticking out of his back. No...prob kid. As..long as....you girls..are.....safe....Equestria.....will....be....fine..................................Razor then blacks out and goes into shock from blood loss and pain.

 

Surge comes to and pulls himself together. He still walks around dazed from the darkness. Ohhhhhhh my head. What happened to me? I feel so horrible on the inside. Surge then sees Slick Skies and his troops. Hey Slick! Come help me out over here.

 

Back in Canterlot Diehard is walking around trying to find out where he is. We i know this is not Tartarus its to bright. Its not Black Water cause i helped take over it. Where the buck am i?

 

Abyss darts at her sister. What do you mean they have DD? Why would you trade one of our Elements of Chaos for a no skill old man like him? Now do to your little flirt with greed we are down one element. In a dark voice. Do you even know where DD is? Do you know if darkness still runs in his blood? Do you even know....Abyss stops and looks at her sister with a hung head so Abyss could not see her face. Normal voice. Sigh....Lets just.....just go and finish this. In thought. Only if you knew why i has so hard on you sis. Its because im only looking out for you and want the best for you.....Thats what father would want.

Darkheart's anger again is beginning to get to her but Abyss is her sister so she cools it. No skill old man? He is a general in the Equestrian Army. Where did you even throw him? He knows every single one of their plans and is far more useful the DeathDealer. He has taken out entire platoons of our army and... and my dragon Blood Lust by himself. I'm sorry but when was the last time WW or Lightning did that? I was simply trying to get him onto our side without forcing him. It was such a pain to train DD. However since that didn't work we will have to force him and keep him under control However if you are dead set on recovering DD it would be my first guess that he is in Canterlot. We can barter Surge for him. It's probably about time we took Canterlot anyway. We have conquered the rest of Equestria. It doesn't matter if we don't have the full elements of Chaos. We have an army Abyss! We are all powerful! We are gods! Celestia and Luna are weak with compassion. We should move now!

Do you not think i knew who he was? I know who General Surge of Black Water City is. I know who the number one stealth killer in his class is. I know who "Surge the Dragon Slayer" is. I already know this. Why else do you think i told you all those years ago to take his sons away from him? What do you think i was doing while i sent you on that mission? I was fighting Surge. And thats when i found out how good of a fighter he was. Thats when i found out he has an element of greed in him. Sigh.......Let me let tell you something something sis. Do you really want to know what happened to our father? Do you really want to know why he went missing? He told me to never to tell you this but i think its time you learned the truth.
