private Equestrian Tartarus War RP

[Lightning Fluttershy 1,844]

As Church appears at the Ever free forest he is surprised to see every pony is ok. Yet something seemed off about them. Report soldier! Have you seen any sign of Tartarus forces? The soldier simply glances his way and gives Church a dazed look. What's happened to all of you? It's almost as if they have put under some sort of spell. They won't react to anything... Who could have that kind of power? Perhaps I'll try to straiten this out with my magic... Church attempts a spell but as he channels his magic it backfires on him. That's when he notices a strange aura coming from the forest... I wonder if that has something to do with it? There are many powerful magic creatures in the forest and this is powerful magic... Church runs into the forest in search of this force.

 

Darkheart approaches her sister and notices that Lightning is back. Lightning! It has been too long. We will have to catch up but it will have to wait. She turns her attention to Abyss. I hope I'm not interrupting but are you ready to go? I've been craving chaos for some time now and now that you promise me it I have to wait. Well I'm ready to venture forth.

Rainbow dash and razor attacked the boats. Rainbow dash was circling of of the boats, some unicorn ponies were trying to shot rainbow dash down with there magic but she was to fast for them. She tackled one of them off the boat.

 

Back in the Dream Valley, Twilight heard one of the traps go off. "Get ready, here they come."

 

Jacob said "Nice to see you again Lightning. Before you go I want to thank you for letting me join the Tatarus army. I havent had this much fun in a long time and now that you and your sister are joining, things are going to get even more fun and chaotic."

Abyss looks to Darkheart. Vere well then. If you are so eager to destroy something go to the Dream Valley and start there. I will be going to Manehattan and claim the city. While turning away. Oh and take your spy with you. He has no right to be spying on WW and Jacob. And sister this is why i questioned your loyalty earlier. Dont prove me wrong Darkheart. Come WW. We have chaos to create. As they fly off. Lighting i want you to keep a close eye on WW. Just see if he acts different and take note of it. Jacob did you send those ships to Manehattan?

 

DD was walking with Darkheart but in deep thought and having flash backs. Run away and never come back Razor. What are you doing! I said kill him! Ill come back for you. Just run Razor! You...Disappoint me Deathdealer. My name is not Deathdealer. My name....Is Diehard! Very well Diehard Darkheart restrains him and gets in his face. Then ill just have to break you again! Snaps out of it and comes back to reality. Sigh

 

Razor saw as Rainbow knocked the enemy troops off the ships. Looks to Dash. Dash! Take out the main tower! Left flank! Take out those unicorns! Right flank! Fallow me and stay on my 6! Razor swoops low by the water and to the side of the ship. Ready....Wings out now! Razor and the fleet behind him cut the hull of the ship with their wing blade armor. One down six more to go.

 

Surge jumps on Blood Lust face as he dodged the dragons attack. Lets party! The dragon take flight trying to shake Surge off. You cant get rid of me that easily. As he slid down the dragons back. Hey do you guys plan on doing anything. As to other troops stood and watched Surge mount the dragon. That is one crazy pony. Eeeyup.

 

As more of Twilight's traps go off she could tell that something was coming closer. We are ready to fight Lady Twilight. No matter what we will pro......Just then the solider was struck down by a magic bolt to the head. Killing on impact.

Darkheart lets her anger control her facial expression but quickly snaps out of it, returning to her usual cold, emotionless face. Deathdealer, I'm very disappointed in you. From what I understand you were supposed to be stealthy... However your punishment will have to wait. For now I'm sending you to the Ever free forest. The magic there is strong but from what I understand this, Church, is a powerful unicorn and may be an problem. Kill him. Do not fail me or I will hang your skin on my mantle. For now I must go to Dream Valley. There is much work to be done there. This twilight is proving to be more of a problem than I thought... With that she flys off.

 

Back at the Ever free forest Church is frantically searching for the source of power when suddenly he gets struck from the side.A manticore! I doubt you're with the Tartarus however you are a problem. Lets see how you enjoy my fire spells...the manticore hits the ground in seconds.. I'm sorry but you're burns are temporary. I do not like attacking natural creatures. You should awake within 3 hours. Church continues on into the darkness of the forest.

Jacob sayed that he sent the ships to Manehattan. After Darkheart left Jacob got angry "Damn it, that damn Darkheart had her spy in my army and I didnt even know. I let myself get sloppy, Lighting go search the rest of the army make sure there arn't any equestrian spies, if you find any take them to me. After that were going to go attack the Ever free forest and the mountains. Im also sending spies to get as much information possible about the equestrians. I've heard rumors about these so called elements of harmony. Long live Tatarus."

 

Rainbow dash said "Im on it" she headed towards the main tower. She circled around it faster and faster. It created a water cyclone that sucked in another ship. The two ships crashed into each other. The remaining four ships were approching the shore to Manehattan.

 

 

Twilight and the other soldiers were fighting hard to hold back the Tartarus forces. She shot a blast of magic that hit an oncoming Tartarus soldier "We need to hold this area until general Surge comes back."

Razor flies to Dash. They have made it to shore. Lets bring this party down to earth. With a smirk on his face. Ground troops attack!

 

Abyss looks to Jacob. Do not take what my sister did to heart. She is just trying to see where she can get with her new found power. You just keep on making this war happen and you will be rewarded in time. And as of now i am making you First General of the Tartarus army, ahead of my sisters Deathdealer. Whitewind looks to lighting. Lady Lighting, do you know what is happening to me? Do you know what these things are? They cloud my mind.

 

Deathdealer looks to Darkheart. I dont understand. I dont see how i was spoted. But forgive me my lady. And yes i will take Church out. I will not fail you this time my lady.

 

Surge was still fighting with Blood Lust. You cant shake me off. As the dragon flails around trying to shake him off. Oh no you dont. Take this! Driving his blade into the dragons wing. Your grounded! As he cut the wing clean off the dragon stared to descend to down the mountain. Im going to crash land this dragon! You guys go check on Church! WOOOOHOOOO!!!!!As he disappears behind the mountain. That is one crazy pony. Eeeyup.

 

Back in Canterlot in Luna's study. In the name of the moon i think i found something. I have found some information as well my lady. Flare brought Luna some books as well. Celestia come here quick. What is it Luna? I know who Princess Abyss and Darkheart are. Well who are they? They....they are...our...our dark equals. Celestia was stunned to see this information. As she walked to the window she could see the smoke and dark clouds on the horizon. Whats wrong Tia? Oh Luna, my dear sister. I fear this war may be bigger than we had thought it was. What are you saying Tia? Im saying we are in the fight of our lives.

As Church wanders deeper into the forest he can feel the force becoming stronger. Ugh... This aura is taking a toll on me but... I... I must continue. I have to continue to resist this force... What's this? Strange. An orb... hovering above an alter, filled with blood. I bet this is what is making this force. Church attempts to touch it however is blocked by a magic forcefield and is sent flying 10 feet back. I don't understand. Why can't I touch it? Maybe I need magic. He attempts a spell on the orb and the same thing happens as before. He is sent flying back. I knew this was powerful but I didn't expect this... It must be some sort of puzzle. I have to solve it! Equestria counts on it.

 

Darkheart arrives at Dream valley and begins to circle overhead, well above the clouds so that she remains stealthy. She notices the little purple unicorn. So that is Twilight Sparkle? She doesn't look like much. Ha! I'll be done here in an instant. She swoops down to where Twilight was setting up another trap and knocks her over. Hello Twilight. My name is Princess Darkheart. Co-ruler of the Tartarus and soon to be the slayer of the great Twilight Sparkle... Without any warning Darkheart begins to attack.

At the mountain post the ten troops regrouped and treated the wounded. Just then they heard explosions coming from Manehattan. They have had it to Manehattan! We need to go back them up. Just then they say a bright flash come from the Everfree Forest at the foot of the mountain. Captain Church is down there. He may need our help. Ok ill take a team to Manehattan. And ill take the others to the forest. They part ways down the mountain.

 

Deathdealer makes it to the Everfree Forest. Who does that little harlot think she is? Threatening my life like that! Why if i weren't under this servitude spell i would break her horn off and shove it right up her.......Just then he say a bright flash in the woods. What the buck was that!? Walks over slowly to see Church and some magic force field. What are you doing? DD sits and watches from a distance.

Jacob looked to Abyss and sayed "Thank you for the promotion, I will not let you down. We will move to the ever free forest after i know that the army dosnt have equestrian spies in it."

 

As the land trops attacked the sea troops, Rainbow Dash flew in to help give support.

 

As twilight was getting up she said "Soldiers this is one of Tatarus's leaders, if we can stop her it will help put an end to this horrible war" Twilight then shot a magical blast of fire at Darkheart.

Abyss Looks to Jacob. In a stern voice. No! You will not be going to the Everfree Forest. You are to remain by my side unless i say other wise. There is something in the forest. Something i put there to test my sisters loyalty. This will show her true colors and if she really deserves to be second in command of Tartarus. They see only four ships made it to shore. I claim this city as well.

 

Surge was coming up on the ground quick as the dragon fell. Oh man this is going to hurt! Hey whats that? He saw Twilight and some other pony and the heated fight they were in. Just then Surge know who it was. Oh man this day just keeps getting better and better. Surge tries to steer the dragon to the Tartarus side. Twilight! Get back and take cover! He drives the dragon right into Darkheart's troops. As he jumps off the dragon and in front of Darkheart. So Darkheart we meet again. Pulls out another blade. Now where is my son!?

 

Razor gives the troops some back up. Dash on your left. After killing that troop he looks up and sees three pegasus on a cloud. Jacob. Lighting. Abyss. He said in a raged voice. As he flies to where they were. Your mine!

Darkheart looks at Sarge in disgust. What have you done to my dragon?! I raised him from an egg... You will pay for your crimes. All at once Darkheart suddenly lets her emotions take full control, making her magic even stronger. In the same voice of power that Luna used to use she screams. You will pay for what has become of my Blood Lust! You will never see your son again for you will die! All at once she lets out a huge blinding ray of lightning and decimates the Equestrian forces around Sarge and Twilight. Now It's just us! Let's go!

 

Church searches around the orb for any possible traps or triggers when he remember a book he read a few years back about the 3 orbs of despair. Hmm. I wonder if this could be one? they say the only way to come into any sort of contact with it is to offer... your own blood. Church hesitates for a moment but eventually finds a rock to cut himself with. Ugh... that hurt but I should now be able to access the orb. Better bandage up this cut first though. Okay if I remember correctly, now that I have given blood I can move it as I please. Church again trys to grab the orb and is successful but soon he realizes why it's called the orbs of despair. Ugh... What is happening. The orb. It's forcing back all my most hurtful memories and sorrows of my life and exploiting them ten fold. The orb continues to force the memories upon him. He remembers the war of his old land, his wife running away, the loss of the war... and worst of all, all of the times he hoped to find his wife and failed. Suddenly Church is forced to his knees in agony. Then he notices DD. Who is that? Hey! Hey please help me! Please! the pain... is unbearable. I need help now! save me! remove this orb from me!

Jacob said "Thank you for that wing spell, it would have taken forever for an earth-pony like me to get here on foot." after examining the battle from the cloud he said "It looks like are forces are losing. This is unacceptable." Jacob flew down straight past Razor to were the Tartarus soldiers are. "Regroup, focus your fire on their air forces."

 

Rainbow Dash saw Razor going to the cloud where Abyss was, she flew to back him up.

 

"Surge we need to attack together if we want to beat her." As Darkheart attacked them Twilight teleported herself and Surge 5 feet to the right to dodge Darkheart's attack. She then shot a blast of magic at Darkheart.

As Deathdealer watched Church suffer in pain all he could do look without any care. What reason do i have to save you? I came here to kill you in the first place. Watching you kill yourself is so much easier to do. As he takes a seat in front of the orb to watch his face went from a smile and slowly to a frown. In thought. Man that looks like it hurts. It looks so painful. He looks like he just might be dieing. I remember this kind of pain and how bad it feels.

(OOC. Go to the OOC and let me know if DD should save Church or leave him there till the other troops find him? Post it in the OOC)

 

Razor saw Jacob fly past him. Dash! Get him! Ill get the Princess! Abyss looks at Razor flying right at her. Who does this fool think he is? Lighting! Take care of him.

 

As Surge and Twilight fight with Darkheart Surge starts to plan. Twi! Get behind the dragon! Look she is emotionally unstable. She may have more power but she is not thinking strait. So like you said if we split up we can attack her. You use your strongest pulse bolt to knock her off balance. Ill get her attention and keep her off of you. Ok? On three. 1.....2.....3!!!

Darkheart continues her barrage of attacks. You can't keep running! You are nothing more than a bunch of weak mortals! She lets loose another powerful lighting bolt that barely skims sarge's head. So close it sears his hair. Get back here! Twilight! Take another one! My treat! Wait... what are you doing with my dragon?! She send another bolt their way but they dodge it and it hits blood lust. Nooooo! How... How did that happen? Suddenly Darkheart is on her knees, hungry with power and rage. You caused this! You will DIE! She attempt the most powerful spell known to ponies however halfway through her process fails from an overload of power and is shot from the sky. However Sarge and Twilight also take a massive blow from the unstable force.

 

Church looks DD in the one eye he can keep open. It won't be long until he passes out. I... I know who you are... The orb isnt just bringing on my worst memories... but yours also... I know your brother, Razorwing, and your father, Sarge. I know you still have compassion. I know that you saved Razorwing from certain death, even in the face of Darkheart. I know you... Diehard... Ugh... With that he passes out. It will only be about 15 minutes until Church dies.

Rainbow Dash flew towards Jacob. Jacob turned to see Rainbow Dash was coming straight at him. He pulled out his knife and flew at her. They began to attack each other in the air. Jacob managed to cut Rainbow Dash on the hoof. Rainbow Dash flew back so she could pick up speed, she was flying straight at Jacob and Jacob was flying straight into Rainbow Dash. Right before they were going to hit each other Rainbow dash flew above Jacob and grabbed his magical wings and ripped them off. Jacob fell and hit the sand. Jacob wasnt the best flyer because didnt have his wings for that long. As he got up he said "Damn Bitch, im going to kill her." As he looked in the sky he smiled "It looks like all your air support is gone, soldiers shoot her down." All of the equestrian pegasus's were shot down except for Rainbow Dash, Razorwing and one more pegasus. Rainbow Dash was dodging magical blast's left and right. Jacob ordered the land forces to move up.

 

 

Twilight lost her balance and tripped from the massive unstable magic. As Darkheart shot a bolt at Twilight, she teleported behind Blood Lust at the last possible second. "That was way too close." Everything was going according to Surge's plan. She jumped on top of the dragon and got blinded by a light.

DD Looks at Church wide eyed at what he said.DD bust into the force field and drags Church out and starts asking him questions. How do you know of my brother? How do you know my father? How do you know my real name? Answer me or i will kill you! As he puts his blade to Church's neck some troops come down the mountain and see DD about to kill Church. Hey stop there! Put Church down and surrender! DD looks to Church. Ill be back for you Church. Throws a smoke bomb to get away.

 

After Surge gets grazed on the face. Aghh Buck that hurt! After coming from behind the dragon Twi and Surge were blinded by Darkhearts power over load. Twi if you can see her now is the time. Give it all you got.

 

Abyss looks as Razor and Lighting fight while in flight. She sees Jacob get his wings ripped off and recover with a of return fire. My my Jacob well done. Let me make this fight a lil more fun. As her horn starts to shine she opens a portal to tartarus. Come forth my monsters of darkness. Just then all sorts of demons burst through the portal. Whitewind. Go have some fun. Yes my lady. WW death booms down to the city and starts killing all in his path.

Church slightly opens his eyes, not knowing where he was. What... Where am I. All I remember is the pain... and DD. What became of DD? We watched as he pulled you out of the forcefield. It looked like he was having a sudden burst of compassion but then he pulled a knife to your throat and we stepped in. Although he looked distressed. He didn't seem to care that you were unconscious. He kept asking you questions sir. Hmmm. I think we may have a potential ally on our hands. Although he was going to kill me I saw things from the orb. It showed me his painful past. He has no love for Abyss and Darkheart. He simply does as they command out of fear of punishment. I feel if I had some time alone with him I could reason with him...

 

Darkheart gets up after her major wipe out. She begins to give herself a sort of pep talk. Ugh. I can't believe I let my emotions control me... Blood Lust is gone and there is nothing I can do... There are many other dragons. Ahaha! It feels good to be in control of my actions again. But Blood Lust... No! He's gone. Get over it. With that Darkheart returns to her usual, emotionless, stature. Now where are those two mortals... I have a feeling I appeared weak to them... They don't know what they have gotten themselves into now that I've gotten all the emotions out of me...

Twilight was blinded by the light and coundnt see Darkheart. As her vision came back she saw Darkheart "Surge it looks like she's starting to think straight, we lost are chance to attack. I think we should retreat."

 

Rainbow dash flew to Razorwing, and tackled Lighting " We need to retreat into the city, the beach has been taken." She flew into Manehatan with a pegusus pony and was waiting for Razor to follow them. As Jacob was giving orders he was interupted by a soldier " We have received news from are spies" He handed Jacob a report.

Surge looks at Twi. As much as i hate running away, this is the best time to do so. We will fall back to Fillydelphia for now. And i want you to go to Canterlot and tell the Princess we lost Dream Vally. As they run away Surge sees something by the carcass of Blood Lust. Whats this??? Ohhh. This may come to some use latter. Picks it up and runs off.

 

Razor hated having to run. He looks at Abyss and Lighting. This is not over. Not by a long shot. Razor then catches up with Dash. We may have lost the city. We might have to fall back to Dragon Mountain. Because after that they have a strait shot to Ponyvill.

 

DD had ran to a safe spot. Thoughts were running through his head. How the hell did he know my name? How does he know my family? What did he mean he could see my memories? And then it hits him. Wait my brother?......Razor is in this war again?....And dad too? He then sees a bright flash come from outside the woods. That must be Darkheart. Let me go see if she needs me.

 

Abyss watched as the Equetrian forces started to fall back. She then looked down to WW. WW! My pet! Kill The one they call Razorwing. And Do It Now! WW looked up to his master. Yes my lady. WW starts to chase Razor and pulls up beside him. .........Die.......As he force pushes Razor to the ground with his magic. WW stands over Razor ready to finish him off. We must do as we are told. No you dont! WW stops with his horn right on Razor's neck. What do you mean? I dont have to do this???

Twilight turned to Surge and said "Good luck. Im going to have reinforcements sent to Fillydelphia." Twilight then ran towards Canterlot.

 

Rainbow Dash said to WW " You don't have to lisen to what Abyss tells you, you can do what ever you want. If you want to you can join up with the equestrian forces, please just let Razorwing live."

 

Jacob read the spie's report. It wrote that the elements of harmony are a powerful weapon that beat Nightmare moon and Discord, They only work if the 6 ponies are together. The report also included information about the mane 6, and how two of them were fighting in the war. When Jacob was done reading the report he realized that he fought against one of them,Rainbow Dash. "Damn it, I let her get away, soldier take this report to princess Abyss."

Church was busy with treating medical wounds when he sees twilight walking back into base camp. Twilight! What happened at Dream Valley? And what was that bright flash? Church then notices her wounds. Hold on let me heal you then tell me everything. I'm most interested in that flash because it appeared right after my encounter with DD.

 

Darkheart sees Twilight and Sarge retreating and smiles at her victory. She opens up a portal to the Tartarus gate. Now my forces! we have taken Dream Valley! Occupy every station and you can find and if you find any stragglers, kill them. She then turns toward Manehatten to check on her sister however sees the look on Abyss's face after seeing her pet question her and decides to sit and study the situation.

WW was confused. He did not understand what was going on inside him. You mean i dont have to kill? I dont have to do this? WW is stunned and does not know what to do. Abyss watches as WW defies her. WW what are you doing?! I told you to kill him. Whats taking you so long?! WW is in a fight within himself. You dont have to do this. You have a choice. I do........No i must kill you! But i dont want to kill you. But you must do as you are told. But i dont want this. Razor grabs WW horn, lifts his head up, and looks him in the eye. What do you feel you should do? Abyss shouts at WW. I TOLD YOU TO KILL HIM!!! DO IT NOW!! Just then WW charges up all his magic and fires it all at Razor. The place they were in is surrounded by ash and smoke. Razor looks into WW eyes and then at the hole in the ground nest to him. You are not a killer. .......Run......Thanks.....Friend. WW is perplexed by this word but it made him feel good. Your....your welcome......Friend......As the the smoke cleared Abyss saw two figures fly away. WW! WHY DID YOU NOT KILL THEM LIKE I TOLD YOU TO!!! WW looks to Abyss in anger. You no longer have control of me. Abyss was shocked in anger at what WW had just said. What did you just say to me? WW flies up to Abyss and gets in her face and looks her in the eye. I am no longer your pet. I can make my own choices. You have no control over me anymore. Abyss was shocked to hear such words to come from WW. Very well then. She said in a calm manner. Then you are reveled of duty. With that she touches his horn with hers and takes every bit of life force, souls, and her own darkness out of him. AHHHHGGHGHHGGHGHAAAGFG!!!!! Why.....my....lady.? Abyss looks into his eyes as she killed him slowly. WW could feel the life being taken out of him. And as he looked into his masters eyes for the last time he saw one tear fall from her face. I did not want to do this. But you have forced my hand. But before you die i want you to know this......Mommy loves you. With that she ended his life. While holding his lifeless body she opens his chest and pulls something. What is that my lady? Lighting asked Abyss. As Abyss dropped WW body into the water below. This is a gem called Abyss's Heart. My father gave it to me before he went missing. She puts the gem in her crown. It has been a long day. Call the troops back and tell them to set up camp here. We will regroup and stay here for the night.

After Twilight's wounds were healed, she looked towards Church "Dream Valley was lost, Princess Darkheart was there. Surge managed to kill her pet dragon, after her dragon died she went on a rampage and that light you saw was her magic. We're retreating to Fillydelphia. You should go there and help general Surge, i need to go report the loss of Dream Valley to princess Celestia."

 

Rainbow dash said "That was a brave thing for that pony to let you live."

 

After the camp was set up.Jacob went to speak with Abyss. " Princess, if we want to win this war we need to take out the equestrians secret weapon, the elements of harmonie " Jacob saw that something was wrong with the princess "Are you alright, princess Abyss?"

Darkheart sat in awe after watching what WW but she had seen the signs. DD had tried to do the same thing a while back but she couldn't help but feel bad for Abyss. Hmmm. I was wondering where she kept her gem. I kept mine on Blood Lust so I could know when he was in danger... Wait! Darkheart races back to the corpse of Blood Lust to search for her gem. Where is it... WHERE IS IT!? When Abyss and I were fillies father gave us both a gem... Abyss got Abyss's heart and I got Darkheart's soul. Ironic how I have none... But where could it have gone... Wait if I recall that green pony was carrying some sort of gem but I never thought... He wouldn't. Just then DD runs in to check on Darkheart. DD you are just in time. We have a mission. Together. It appears a mortal has stolen something of.. very sentimental value of mine and we must retrieve it. Before we go what became of Church?

 

As Church enters Fillydelphia he looks for Sarge. Ah there he is! Sarge over... here... Church see the state the city is in. Sarge what happened? The city... It's demolished. Anyway i have been sent as reinforcements. What do you need assistance with? Hey whats that gem you have... It looks... Dark...

As Razor and Dash fly to the Dragon Mountains. Yea it was. I just happy he could aim. That would have been my head. But we have to warn the Princess about the fall of Manehattan. Im just hoping that that dragon friend of yours still lives in the mountain.

 

Surge sees Church and tells him about everything that happened. Well the city was like this when me and Twi got here. One of two things happened. One the pony folk looted the city as they left, or two Tartarus has some inside troops in the city. Oh and this gem right here. I pulled it out of Blood Lust after i killed it. If im right i think its called Darkheart's Soul or something like that. Its a very powerful gem too. So ya'know better we have it than her. Oh and thats not the only thing that came out of her dragon. Pulls a black and red egg out his bag. With this i know we can get Darkheart to give up.

 

DD would not dare tell her he did not kill him when he had him right in his hooves. He had to think of something and fast. Well my Lady i had him right where i wanted him. I was going to sneak up behind him and cut his head clean off. But then there was this orb thing he started talking about. So i watched what it would do to him. In closing the portal she asked Lighting and Jacob to leave for a moment. Can the two of step outside for a second. I need a moment to myself......Im not asking im telling you. She said with an upset voice..
