At the gala (Unfinished Remix) - Looking for criticism

Okay so before I say anything else, I just wanna point out that I don't really make music. This is one of my first attempts at making a remix in FL Studio.

 

The reason why I'm posting this unfinished and ask for criticism instead of just doing it myself is simply just because I can't tell myself whether it's good or not since I've made it myself. Not sure exactly what it is about it but I just can't, so I decided to upload it and ask what to change, improve or add before I do more on it.

 

I'm not even sure if I'll ever finish it, but it would be nice to actually finish something in FL Studio for once.

 

So yeah, here it is:

The kind of stuff I'm looking for is what should I change, improve, add or whatever.

Do the voices need improvements? Should I change some of the synths? Are the kicks too hard? Does some part sound weird and should be re-done?

You get what I mean.

So if you give it a listen and have anything on your mind, I'd be very thankful if you wrote it down. :]

The remixing is very simple, which isn't bad at all. Actually, it sounds really good, and suggest you finish it all the way through. The only part that was really off was at 1:18/1:19. The kick comes in a tiny bit too soon, at least, it seems.

 

This is my favourite song in the show, and you didn't ruin it, so I say good job. xD There's really nothing... I can say. I enjoyed it, and can't really point out any real flaws.

Thanks a bunch, and yeah you're right. It does sound like the kick is a bit off. Didn't even notice that before so thanks. :3

I actually like it. It isn't filled with random explosions of mindfucking sounds like alot of remixes are. Very good job on it!

Thank you and yeah, it's pretty simple haha. It's just a little side-thing I do when I need breaks from animating. :]

Well, I've been messing around with plugins and things like that before but never actually made something.
