How you became a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: Since I was a little girl in the 80's, now my little girl is huge fan of mlp fim as are myself and her dad.

We are all huge fans of mlp fim and my little girl (just gone 3 years old) is a huge fan and is quickly making her little friends huge fans too.

Her favourite pony is pinkie, I love rarity and her daddy loves dash.

 

You have probably all heard this a million times, but... my little girl has quite the collection of ponies but we are having issues trying to find the fashion ponies rarity and apple jack. I Have contacted Hasbro who confirmed they are no longer making that range and was wondering if anyone new how these hard core fans and 'rogue traders' managed to find them... I have looked all over and continually bug the various stockists in my area trying to find these and at this point would just gladly accept a well used one of these ponies. So my little pony fan can complete her little collection of the mummy and baby ponies (her name for the big ones).

Any help would be greatly appreciated though I probably know the answer is these particular ponies are for some reason rare and therefore I should accept the £100 price tag that some people are placing on them... oh and was there a princess Luna pony toy or is that a special made pony...

Hello and welcome to the forums! Have you tried looking at amazon? I'm sure they have something for rarity and AJ.but if not sorry, I don't know that many places that sell mlp products.

Being trying amazon uk, Australia and US, Also Play, Ebay Argos etc.... the fashion style ponies seem rather difficult to get hold of.. well AJ and Rarity... only place I ever found them was shipping from US on ebay and bids are around £30-£60 average. Don't know why they seems so difficult to get and also no Idea if/when the princess Luna and Celestias ones of the fashion style get a UK release... Thinking of relocating to US as they seem to get all the cool pony toys.. What would be cool if Hasbro UK actually Sold the pony stuff instead of where you may (if your lucky) buy them. x

D'aww. The kid and the parents like the show. That's wonderful! I'm new here as well. I'm not much of a toy collector myself so I haven't been keeping up with them except maybe for plushies, though I haven't bought any (I don't like the ones habro makes and the fan made ones can get expensive). Anyway, I hope both of us meet some nice people on here.

Nice to meet you too muffin and welcome, I blame my mam for the love (she loved horses and when mlp came out in the 80's she went crazy on them, so its actually multi generational lol).

 

I have thought about these fan made ones but have no idea how you request them or buy them and also how playable/child safe they are as would actually be used by her. (firm believer that ponies should be free and not sealed up). May just get registered with a few mlp fan groups and forums etc just to keep abreast of the new releases and to avoid missing out on the ponies when they are released. I shall prevail and hopefully one day will be able to complete her little family of ponies.. Also look forward to them releasing a dvd of the show over here as boomerang aired them sporadically and back to front episodes so a little confusing at times.. Hope you enjoy your time here x
