Chain Flash Fanfiction

In this thread, we try our hands on writing flash fanfictions (about 300-700 words) on random subject, which will be determined by the previous writer.

 

It doesn't have to be a MLP fanfiction, you can try write your own original stories here. So, write away!

 

Small rules:

• Everything should be strictly SFW.
• When posting your work, quote the subject from previous writer so everyone can tell what you are writing about.
• If you already wrote the story, about someone else already posted his/her, feel free to post yours, but you can't post a subject for the next writer to write on.
• If you want to review another's story, you can do so in a spoiler!

A not-so-smooth start

 

“And… It’s done!”

 

Twilight Sparkle slumped on her beanbag chair. With another satisfying ping from her horn, the mouse clicked the big red ‘submit’ button. Finally, Twilight thought to herself, another thread is done! Now all she would have to do is to wait for somepony to reply, and then she could start to practice her writing skills. Everything is so perfect!

 

Twilight raised herself from her chair. She trotted leisurely to her small fridge and grabbed some salad leftover from breakfast from it. It should take a few minutes before anypony replied to her thread. She stared the computer screen from across the room while munching on a lily flower absentmindedly.

 

The computer let out a soft ping.

 

Within less than a second, Twilight teleported herself away from the now falling salad to in front of the computer. A notification! Someone should have already replied to her thread! Hurriedly she clicked on the notification button. It read ‘Your thread has been moved to Forum Games’.

 

“No…,” Twilight muttered, her eyes went blank.

 

The warm room suddenly felt much colder. Twilight’s shoulder sagged. No, it can be, her thread is not a game! Can’t they see that? With a few mouse clicks, Twilight contacted the forum’s administration team. She asked the, why did her thread got moved?

 

“It’s a game lol,” they replied.

 

“But it’s not a game!” Twilight screamed to the unmoving screen. “It’s a thread where ponies can practice writing short stories!”

 

With a blinding speed Twilight typed her reasoning and pleas for reconsideration. After a while, she sent it in a private message to every global moderator on the forum. They should understand, her arguments were truly flawless. Before she could breathe a sigh of relief, another reply came.

 

“It’s still a game lol”

 

Twilight spent the remainder of the days tracking all the administration team to deliver a strongly worded complaint letter, which printed on a hammer, to their face.
