I woke up in the Ponyville hospital this morning. A heart condition, they said. Now I'm stuck here, waiting to die, and all the company I've got is a bookish pegasus and a pony in a full body cast who hasn't said a word since they rolled him in here. Nothing to do but reflect on the life I've lived—or should I say, the life I've wasted.

It was short... but not bad! I liked the idea, if you could expand on it. Make a long history of it! Maybe saying when he first found out about the heart condition and how its gotten worse over the years and it's ended with him in hospital!
