How did you find MLP Forums?: Searching for a way to tell my parents about my love and tolerance.

How you became a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: I never really went through "Stage 1" of becoming bronified. I never hated MLP : FiM. I just decided to try it out.

Ohai. I've been a brony for 1.5 years. I somehow never found out about this site. Well, now I'm here, and I'll tell you a bit about me.

 

 

As you can probably tell from my username, I like to program. Code. Script. Those sorts of things. I'm a huge geek. Sadly, I chose my glasses before they were cool. So instead of wearing Hot Topic Nerd Glasses, I get these puke-green goggles.

 

Anyways, all stupidity aside. Actually, no. We need lots of stupidity. Especially on my posts. :/

I'm the stupidity-est of them all! :3

 

Let's see, we've talked about the username, now how about the avatar? His name is Duke Pool. :3 He has a broken unicorn horn because... Well, because it's cool. The white coat and 2-shade green mane is pretty awesome, and reminds me of a jester.

 

I'm really tired and lazy right now, so this post is in a terrible format. I'm sorry, but I'm usually the best typer/writer in my school! >.< When I feel like it....

At any rate; welcome to our forum, here. Usually, this place is hustling and bustling, but as of right now, most users are in school or at work. This place is pretty easy to figure out, but if you've got any questions, feel free to message me, staff, or anyone else on the site, really. We're all pretty friendly, and will be glad to help you out.

 

If you have an OC, maybe you like roleplay? If so, go check out Roleplay World. Things are actually turning out to be quite awesome, there.

The forum is a pretty neat thing, like an aspen tree. As said above, if you have an O.C. and the drive to roleplay him up a bit, we have an extensive subsection just for RPs. You should check that out.

 

Now that I think about it, I don't myself know where programming stuff would fit into specifically on this forum...Octavia's Hall, perhaps? Also, what have you programmed? I know a bit of C#, but not nearly enough to be considered a programmer by any means.

Bawwwwwww, thanks! Though, I doubt I'll be posting anything on programming... Although, since you're wondering... I've programmed entire games with just HTML. They were text based, haha! I came up with the idea. You just put text, "You find yourself in a cave." and stuff in a website, and hyperlinked "Go left" or "Go Right"'s next to it. It hyperlinks to another website, describing the scene you are now in. It's pretty cool, and you should try it sometime. (Word of advice, though. Use MS Paint or something to make a map of the story, and land area. It helps a bunch. You can cross off the areas that are already coded as you go.)

 

 

Believe it or not, I haven't programmed in quite a while. I used to be a pretty good Lua, C++, C, HTML, and Javascript coder. Although, after I took a little break (Hopefully 6 months is "little"!), I forgot most things, except basic HTML, basic LUA, and basic Javascript. I just still enjoy what I can with it, though. For example, my username. I'm not surprised that it wasn't taken, but that the system let me put in the "<", "/", and ">"!

 

Well, that's just about it. I can't really stay to chat, but I would appreciate it if anyone could tell me how I could contribute to MLP forums, in the best way possible!
