I have been here for roughly 48 hours, and got quite a welcome from many others.

I wish I could answer your questions, but as I mentioned, I'm still new here and am slowly reading threads and finding out stuff as I go.

1. What do you guys normally discuss around here?

Usually pony related things, but I've seen many threads discussing all manner of things. So, I'm sure you will find something you like.

2. I see you have a section entirely for roleplaying. What normally goes on there?

Well, we have two types of RPs. Standard, and Advanced. Standard ones have 200 character limit, while Advanced have a 800 one. The Advanced ones require more effort and are somewhat slower. Standard ones are a bit faster, and are similar to other forums' RPs. If you're used to those, then that's a good start. Check out the actual section for more information.
