My personal OC...

Hi...

 

I gave a brief intro to myself, and my OC here... http://mlpforums.com...dy/#entry865968

 

But, here is my OC and more info on who and where he came from, along with other information and illustrations.

 

Name: Ironhoof

Nickname: Klyde

Gender: Stallion

Age: 49

Breed/Type: Drafthorse/Earthpony

Job Situation:Retired

Status: Single

 

Background:

 

Ironhoof earned his CM while working for his Father, who was a local Blacksmith, just outside of Stalliongrad. The ability to heat and form metals to new and unique shapes for nearly any function enthralled him, and one afternoon while working on his first horseshoe, he got his CM.

 

As years progressed, he later joined the Military, and worked his way up to being the Sargent At Arms. While in this position, he became noticed for prototyping and aiding in the design of new weapons... namely defense systems. And, when he left the service, he was nearly thrusted into the head position of the Royal Armory. Although one day, he saved the life of a visiting family member when a ceramic processing kiln exploded. His right forehoof was crushed, and he received numerous scars, but after all was said and done, the Doctors were not able to save his forehoof, and he got a prosthetic hoof made of stainless steel... giving him a physical sign of his name.

 

He excelled with creating some unique items, both for Royalty, and Officers of the Royal Guard. His last "Top Shelf" item he created, was a ceremonial sword for the Captain of the Guard - Shining Armor.

 

Today, he enjoys his retirement, living in Canterlot, watching the days go by.

UGH. How I wish I could draw ponies like this awesome custom one, The second picture was especially amazing (even though I don't recall stallions with swords) and I just don't understand how people can draw ponies from such great angles. I mean, Just look at my avatar.

I ran across Royal-Exo on Deviant Art and he does these commissions for points, not cash. It's all done in Vectored format

I did some drawing in the past, and learned by example and studying the lines that made up a particular piece, learning how a line can give a desired effect. But, there is still a commission... there is nothing wrong with getting one of those. ;-)

Thanks, but the credit goes to Royal-Exo on Deviant Art. All I did was give him the description, and he went from there. If there was any one thing I would have changed, would be the scars. Maybe a bit thicker, or a darker color... but I'll keep it as it is, and I'll probably commission a few more.
