They look, uh, shiny to say the least. An incredible effect on both skin tones. The Chrysalis eyes were stunning as you mentioned before, but I don't think that the Fluttershy eyes were bad at all. A pretty even shading overall.

Not bad not bad, very just came out of a bubble bath-esque ;D

Fluttershy's eyes look like her eyes always look,

That's it! That's the description I was looking for!

I like them both, but I'm particularly fond of Fluttershy - she's adorable as usual! (But that's probably just my bias showing through.)

Here's an idea... what if you show us a PNG (or jpg?) version on the forums? It's not like you'll be marked down because you showed it to forumers... I hope. All it matters is that you send the pics as a PDF.

Here you go Princess Nightingale! (I have no idea how to tag you in a post other than quoting, but that seems a little tacky...) Anyhow, I converted the images over into high-res .png prints, meaning that you can print these on high quality photo paper and get an almost perfect match to what the computer shows. (I hope you don't mind.)

Fluttershy (300 ppi):

3329x2500 pixels

11.097x8.333 inches (300 ppi print quality)

46.236x34.772 inches (72 ppi web quality)

Chrysalis (300 ppi):

Image size: 1985x2431 pixels

6.617x8.103 inches (300 ppi print quality)

27.569x33.764 inches (72 ppi web quality)

*Edit: For those of you who are wondering what the difference between "print" quality and something else (like "web" quality), it all revolves around the number of pixels condensed into one square inch. 300 ppi is standard if you're going to print an image for something like a newspaper, since printing anything less than 300 pixels worth of information per square inch will start to turn blurry.

For the web however, you really only need 72-100 ppi, since it's a direct translation of data from the image to your monitor. (Thus, web quality images on screen will be bigger than print quality images on paper.)

I personally saved these images at 300 ppi (just for professionalism), but if you want a larger version for web/electronic use, simply download these 300 ppi versions, open a photo editor, and change the resolution from 300 to 72 pixels per square inch. (Done from Image>Image Size...>Resolution in Photoshop, and Image>Scale Image>X resolution and Y resolution in GIMP.)

Thank you.

You rock. :D

Wow. You taught me more with 3 paragraphs then my teacher has since september. XD

You can see what a great job she's doing :P

Glad I could help! And I'm not sure if I'm supposed to be happy that I taught you something, sad about your teacher (although I'm sure she's not that bad), or both XD

Did you use a graphics tablet for this? If so what kind?!?!? I REEAALLLY want to get into digital art, and I can't draw with my mouse... :/ Gosh dangit.

I think she said that she took the lineart and simply filled it in (although I'm not sure whether she filled it in with a mouse or a tablet).

On a separate note, I approve of the profile pic! (Check out the thread link in my signature - I think you'll like it.)
