Vega 107 November 11, 2012 Share November 11, 2012 I'm annoyed by how little the Mane Six change. One of them can go through an entire episode that seemingly teaches them an important lesson, but in the next episode, she goes right back to the way she was. I'm not advocating mass personality changes of the Mane Six or turning them all in to Mary Sues, but a little character evolution and actual application of lessons they learn beyond the episode in which they learn them would make them more interesting and realistic. brian577 120 November 11, 2012 Share November 11, 2012 (edited) Is the Rainbow Dash in Hurricane Fluttershy anything like the Rainbow Dash in The Mysterious Mare Do Well. Did Fluttershy let Rainbow Dash push her around in Dragon Quest after Putting Your Hoof Down? Did Applejack resist accepting help in The Super Speedy Cider Squeezy 6000 the way she did in Applebuck Season? The changes are happening, your just not noticing them. Actually Fluttershy didn't gain the scary hidden attitude until the dragon episode. Twilight Sparkle used to been very anti-social but became very social. But yeah the personalities are static, but hey the show was met to be a kid's cartoon not anime with a cumulative background. Every episode is a filler except for ones that have a two parter or more or of course special cases like the Grand Gala which was mentioned much before on ticketmaster. Party Cannon 876 November 12, 2012 Share November 12, 2012 Hm. In the defense they do learn, you may notice that no two episodes have the exact same topic or lesson, thus it was taught and apparently retained. Besides, not even including the Discord episodes, the Mane 6 at one point or another act completely in conflict with their personalities. (Pinkie Pie in Party of One, Applejack in The Last Roundup, Twilight Sparkle in Lesson Zero...)
