So, in that commercial where Pinkie changes her face... I've been so focused on and amazed by that, that I didn't notice SWEETIE BELLE'S HORN WAS GLOWING IN THE SCENE JUST BEFORE.

 

She finally learns some magic. At last! And maybe we'll get some info iirc about why she's never used it at all before (if there is any).

 

But excuse my hype, Sweetie Belle is my favorite filly and I've been wanting to see her at least use the levitation spell. Not to mention that it could help prevent some of her hoof-related accidents... Maybe.

Well, I think the producers were trying to go with the fact that since the CMCs didn't quite know what they wanted to be yet, their natural skills would evade them for the time being. Like how Scootaloo can't fly yet.

 

I hope Sweetie Belle can use at least simple levitation by the end of the third season. I'm not saying magic will be her gift, but it could help her figure out what her special talent is meant to be.

Well, Scootaloo can't fly yet but we've seen her at least propelling herself with her wings, doing scooter stuff and whatnot. And Apple Bloom's an earth pony (and helps out with Sweet Apple Acres, if that counts for a young earth pony using her fledgling earth pony skills. lol)... But Sweetie Belle hasn't done anything with her horn, so it's seemed to be that she was the odd one out.

 

Like, back when the roll of fabric got away from her and landed in some water, I was thinking C'MON, YOU COULD USE MAGIKZ. And stuff.

 

...hype. But for now, we have Pinkie clones to look forward to. lol
