Has Fluttershy ever done somthing that looked extremely butterfly-ish?

I was thinking and it seems like some of the mane six are litterally there cuite marks twilight has been seen as a filly and does that avatar state thing and where she litterally looks like a ball of magic....

 

pinkie pies comical gags somtimes have her under the impression of being a ballon (growing fingers being plump from eating cake looking like a ballon when twilight sent the pinkies back to the river in mmmhhh train she blowed a bubble using the fake sherlock homes pipe with so much air that twilight went in the bubble yet when twilight did it it next to pinkie it didnt have the same effect and the neck moving and growing thing

 

rainbow dash scince she does the sconic rain boom is basically literally lrainbow lightning ......

 

apple jack has talked about the apple pie thing making everyone and her self seem like apples

 

rarity even through is not literally a dimoand has used a light spell which could be her shining like a gem

 

but has flutershy literally been a butterfly ? scince theres so many animals to pick from i wonder why her cuite mark has to do with buterflies i mean the buterflies did save her but so would it seems like any animal she could of had a bunny cuite mark so maybe flutershy will have somthing butterflyish about her or maybe she already does and i didnt notice it ? (i dont think the elegant walk she does counts )

I'd just go with the fact that as you say, they are the creatures that 'saved' her or perhaps just because they are the first creatures that she had seen below the cloud line.

Also they are very soft on their wings and delicate just as she is.

Side note: Rarity has physically been closer to acually being a butterfly with the flight spell.

Well the reasoning to why she has the cutie mark with butterflys is because those are the animals that saved her, and she can communicated with animals.

As for her being a butterfly. Well technically I guess not, but I mean she has wings so she can fly. She hasn't exactly done anything that makes her look perfectly like a butterfly or anything, simply because the way pegasi flap their wings is much different then butterflys.

However the fact the mane 6 have all done something that looks like their cutie mark is really just because they represent their talents, so obviously their going to do something atleast somewhat relate able to it. However I think fluttershys could be interpreted to because she does fly.

 

It would depend I guess on what you consider her being a butterfly or butterfly like.

She has been a tree though Of course thats not her cutie mark .

Well if you want semantics....She flutters gently like a butterfly and she was saved by butterfiles from her fall. She also locked herself in her home sometimes when she was undergoing a Kafka metamorphosis like when a caterpillar becomes a cocoon and later emerges as a butterfly (her change of mood), such as in Putting Your Hoof Down and Hurricane Fluttershy.

Well their cutie mark does reflect who they are, and I don't think it might have been intended to be as literal as each pony "being" their cutie mark.

Simply Balloons = partying/happiness

Apples=farming

And so forth however

Butterflies are a good representation of FutterShy because they do represent nature, peace, calmness, and shyness which are all aspects of FlutterShy and as one episode said she got rescued by butterflies
