Crystal Empire Theories: Origin of Elements of Harmony?

1. Has anyone thought that since it's the Crystal Empire this could actually be the place that the Elements of Harmony was forged at? I'm guessing since there seems to be only earth ponies amongst the Crystal Ponies and they were doing manual labor while enslaved under Sombra they may have been excellent miners, jewellers and such. Perhaps the Crystal Heart is the complete version of the Elements of Harmony?

 

2. It also got me thinking that the Crystal Empire could have some relation to the Hearth's Eve. Like is this where the first Fire of Friendship is found that scattered the Windigos? Because it seems to be the only place untouched by the ice and snow from the Crystal Mountains. Above the Crystal Mountains is the "Frozen North." Could the Frozen North been where the three pony tribes originated from?

 

3. Or could the Crystal Empire be even older to being the original place of Pegasus, Earth Ponies and Unicorns before discovering Equestria? Like the world they were in before they found Equestria. Because where the three tribes left was covered in snow and ice.

I honestly think your pretty right in thinking the Crystal Empire was the original place where the three tribes lived. The ponies that stayed there froze, and became crystallized. When the snow thawed, they became crystal ponies. Theory making is fun.

I like to think of King Sombra's story of him having a superiority complex. That he has the idea that unicorns are born to rule over others and that he was one of those noble unicorns during the Hearth's Eve.

 

Remember during the Hearth's Eve? The unicorns back then were the nobles and they had the earth ponies till crops for them and it's possible Crystal Empire has some kind of relation with the noble unicorns back then. I would even go so to say it could of been one of the first civilizations talked about during the Hearth's Eve or around when the three tribes united to fight off the Windigos.

 

Sombra could of been one of the unicorns that opposed the unification of unicorns, pegasus and earth ponies, seeing earth ponies in particular as inferior and rather keep them as slaves.
