How did you find MLP Forums?: Found this place a few times before, finally decided to join.

How you became a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: Knew about bronyism for a few months through internet culture. One day a few weeks ago decided to see what it was all about and gave the show a watch. A few marathon nights of watching later, I was hooked.

 

Hi everypony! I'm Sky Nomad (I've been around here since yesterday as Captain Cirrus, but did a name change to something more pegasus-y. )

 

Anyway, a little about me.

 

I'm 19 and from the Chicago area. I'm a freshman in college, majoring as a flight student. So hopefully one day will travel the world and live my dream as an airline pilot. In addition I have my dream of getting my aerobatic endorsement to become a stunt pilot. If all goes well that might end up becoming my career. Though as a 33-hour flight student whose soloing next semester it's a bit early to know for sure. Anyway, aviation has been in my blood since the day I was born. When I look up at the sky I see home. I guess you could call me a pegasus at heart. Pretty much the reason Rainbow Dash is my favorite pony, she's the aviator of the group.

 

Personality wise, I'm pretty shy as people go. Pretty much introverted unless around friends, at which point I can become extremely energetic and outgoing. I'm also generally more left-brained than right-brained, more intellectual than creative, which can be both a blessing and a curse. I'd like to develop my right brain a bit, I'd love to be more creative and express myself more. That's why I love this community. All the wonderful artists, animators, musicians, and writers, they inspire me to try to become better at the arts myself.

 

Anyway, that's a little about me. I'm so glad I found this place. I feel blessed!

Welcome to the forums!!!  My, my, that's a great bio you got there!  It's not everyday that a new member posts such a detailed biography, and I gotta tell ya, I appreciate the effort.  Sounds like you've got some cool stuff going on right now in your life.  Well, nothing else to say really, other than I'm glad you found the forums and hope you enjoy your time here!

I'm a little bit of an aviation enthusiast myself! (Historical aviation) I'm no commercial pilot though.

 

Soo much of the artowork here is awesome. This is a really great community as far as creative energy goes.
