Meirno 550 December 10, 2012 Share December 10, 2012 Let me start out by I am very early on in my research in this topic, so I haven't dug very far in to this but I am sure many early cartoons follow a similar style. But digging around on Youtube today, I watched some old cartoons. Some Bugs Bunny, Elmer Fudd and all them. Then I came across a certain episode of Popeye the Sailor Man. "Shuteye Popeye" where a mouse using an incomprehendable mouse voice wakes the old timer up. Then I had an epiphany, slow it down, see if there are any words. Threw it up in Audacity and seconds later, I discovered something amazing.(Later I dug around on youtube for more but I found this instead, so I wasn't the first to try) Watch the video to find what I found, but be wary there is a little mature language in the clip. Does anyone know of any other clips somewhere with the mouse voice or any other kind of voice? I'd like to start digging around, find any other fun little snippets of not-supposed-to-be-heard audio.
