So i'm currently making a PMV and i'm trying to make it as best i can.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SQrlG_GkgRs&feature=youtu.be

I'm putting a lot of time into syncing the video with audio which i think is crucial in a good amv.

Could you let me know what you think and makes a good amv....good?

Also nothing in this is final :)

You know, I can actually give some constructive criticism here. the first half is in sync with the song but then after the 28 second mark things get kind of out of sync and the video kind of feels like it's going all over the place.

As far as good AMVs or music videos in general go, there's some list here about what this one girl thinks makes a good music video and I actually kind of agree with her for the most part.

But keep it up. So far your PMV or AMV or whatever you want to call it doesn't seem bad at all!

Just editing my signature to say that my behavior on here was cringe. I don't regret the friends i made but man i was cringe here

You PMV is awesome, can't wait for the rest  ;)  you just made a awesome combination (viva la vida + MLP)

But i don't know what makes a good amv, i guess that how funny it can be (at least for me).

This one is a good example (for me), i think it is very funny (although, most or any parts are not syncronized)

I see what you mean. I might halve the amount of transitions and see how that turns out. I wanted to change the video for every new note (or whatever its called) the violin makes but that may have been to often.
