Hi guys, just dropping in here for the first time.

I've been a brony for about 9 months now, kept up with the show, but never really got involved with the community as a whole.

 

So, here I am, and a couple things about me:

-I'm sixteen years old

-Lyra is my favorite pony

-I play multiple instruments

-I (try to) paint and do MLP art

-I like meeting new people, even if I come off as shy

-I try to be respectful to everyone, but I can be a jerk if you get me going the wrong direction

-I like video games

 

That's all I guess, I hope I become as active here as I have on other websites.

Cool, I play the piano, guitar, trumpet, French horn, mellophone (a French horn had a baby with a trumpet), and of course I have wonderful showertime vocals.

 

I Plan on being as active as I can, my last forumboard experience was a bit of a bad one, but you guys seem friendly. Since this revolves around a show if love, I don't think I'll run into the problems past.

Unfortunately I don't have much for advice other than to not cut corners, practice, and start slow.

 

As much as I'd like too, I don't write music. I don't have the time to learn music theory and all that entails. Maybe college, but I don't think music isn't my calling. There are a lot of help resources free online though, knowing modal, chordal, and tonal theories can really help you deliver the emotions music was intended to give. I recommend a pianist named Sebastian Wolff, he transposes popular music from games to piano, which you can download and learn. As an independent artist, his emotional delivery is unmatched by anyone I have seen.
