Linework Experiment on Silvermist (Old)

I haven't really posted on this forum for few months since I concentrated most of my activities on DA while just being generally busy irl.

 

Lately I've been experimenting with the Adobe Illustrator and some things from the vectoring just plain frustrated me such as lines just doesn't organic at all and my inability to be satisfied with the generated curves etc. This was done yesterday and separate colors were added into the linework today after I've decided to change the monotonic dark purple linework, which the original image was, into more original colored style.

 

One of the commenter have pointed out that her pair of wings look odd, and there's a legitimate reason for why that is (her right wing isn't 'right') and I have to admit that the resultant linework is just too thick for my own preference. I'm going to make sure that I use the thinner brush stroke next time I do this.

Love the detail of the color changing feathers and how her mane gives a feeling of wind. In general I like the overall design and execution keep em coming
