Especially in fandoms like the MLP fandom I come across so many un-original and badly designed characters it's not even funny anymore, mostly just sad. Well, I guess I have to blame schools, as they don't teach creative writing.

 

So...

If you want to create a character and you are out of ideas or you need help with a certain aspect because you think he/she is not original enough - then come to me.

 

Wether that character is for:

• Roleplaying
• A fanfic
• something else

just give me the information you have, the purpose of the character and what he/she is for and I will tell you what you should change or add so it becomes a well-rounded and interesting character.

 

I can make a real original character out of a pure stereotype, all I need is time and some information.

 

For example I used as base for an OC I made a while back the teachers from movies like Karate Kid. You know? Those old guys who pick their students and make them really great at whatever they are teaching? At the end it was a character with parents, who have their own history, about 2000 words of own history and an exciting cutie mark story.

Despite all his positive parts I managed to destroy every suspicion of a Gary Stu before they came up. Flaws are an important part of a character, so are failures.

 

 

About me:

Since seven years I'm an active roleplayer. I have seen decent and terrifying characters. Mediocre ones and good ones. I can't count through how many character sheets I have read and just *facehoof*-ed. If someone knows he/she is not an ace in character creation or just wants another experienced opinion I am glad to help.
