longgone 873 January 17, 2013 Share January 17, 2013 I bring another ponified song of the 1860's! (one clap amongst the silence) Made the parody of this masterpeice right here: Stallions come near And lend me your ears I’ll give you a song to listen to Pull up a chair And listen clear While we sit in the light of the moon War has commenced And further hence We must pick up the sword Two sisters fight For royal rights While we go marching forward Some ponder at night Asking why they fight Why not drop the sword and take a kneel? Be crowned Luna must Would it not be just? And escape the tyrant’s heels Nothing makes me smile More than rank and file Under fluttering flag advancing A heroic charge Glorious and large With spears we take the foe dancing! Traitors we be? I say nay tae thee! We fight against oppression For liberty We fight to be free And at our own discretion Victory we’ll bring The bells shall ring With the tyrant in a scurry With her renowned We shall place the crown Upon the head of the worthy Oh where shall we march? Canterlot is a start To the capital of the tyrant Their lowly defense Can’t match our offense But they’re more than welcome to try it Well my time is spent I must close to an end Time to give the foe a rabble Hold your heads up high ‘Tis do or die Let us prepare for battle!
