Welcome to the forums! Don't worry, I know where you're coming from with not be able to come up with an introduction and having trouble talking to people. I have the same problem, but I find that it's easier to talk to people on here than anywhere else.

So, what kind of things are you interested in?

I'm mainly a writer, but with how busy my ROTC schedule keeps me I haven't gotten anything done in months. Although I'd have to say my main interest is in writing, I plan on becoming an engineer. I always wanted to live off writing alone, but that seems impossible, considering that I'm nowhere near the level of professional writers. So I simply keep it as a hobby that I wish would've been more, and continue studying into becoming an aeronautics engineer.

Interesting. I'm also a writer. The best advice I can give is to work your hardest and make time for writing, even while pursuing a career in engineering and filling your other obligations because this is how people finally reach their dream jobs; through dedication, hard work, and a little bit of luck. I'm  probably going to become a university professor, although I make sure to continue to pursue my dreams of being a professional writer, with my teaching career as a backup plan in case I don't make it. I may just be being idealistic, but I would encourage you to never let go of the hope of being a writer, if that is what you truly want to do.

 

Sorry for getting all serious and playing guidance counselor for a bit. I tend to get carried away with stuff.  So, what's your favorite pony?

That depends really. Out of the mane six I'm a big Fluttershy fan, but overall probably Octavia or Luna, hard to decide
