Kaneki 1,073 February 2, 2013 Share February 2, 2013 I was wondering if any of the Linux guys here would be interested in this. It's basically a Debian-based distro, with the simplicity of Ubuntu/Fedora/Mint/etc., but no huge governance like those distros have, instead it has a more "home-made" feel instead of factory-made. It also won't have any unnecessary eye candy like some distros (I'm looking at you, Ubuntu). I have not decided any of the software yet, but for GUI I'm considering XFCE or LXDE, but I'm up for suggestions. Would anyone use this? Anyone want to help? akita-ken 581 February 2, 2013 Share February 2, 2013 Forgive me, but what you're describing sounds a lot like Gentoo It certainly meets the 'home-made' criteria, if you get my drift Vanilla Debian is actually pretty clean if you install only the base system :3 Signature to come soon. I think. Yeah. Once I think up a nice one. Or when someone makes one for me. Damn it. I need more time to draw and animate poni. >_<

This will have an installer along with some other ideas I have yet to come up with.
