Trouble with flash

I'm working on a flash animation, and I'm having a bit of trouble with nested symbols (specifically pinkie pie's head). I have the head in one symbol which I've animated around using keyframes and tweens, and I'm trying to animate some hair movement and facial expressions inside her head, but at every keyframe outside the symbol, playback of what's inside starts over. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

try useing stop () on the frame to stop it playing over also try puting it in to a mc (movie clip) and use that to code the gotoandplay or just play i had a little play with RD and pinkie so yeh i used the puppets from sonicrainboom so try geting more from there but i need help to with some codes i need to know how to make a character select on flash as2 i use so yeh but that is al i can think of to help you sorry
