Which arm is it, and exactly how paralyzed? I'm no expert, but if your left arm has trouble moving quickly as a whole, but the fingers are fine, then a Chapman Stick could help by focusing the more intense motions on the right arm. If instead you meant that the fingers are difficult to move, but not the other joints, then that would be terrible advice and you should just learn to play left-handed. If it's a nerve-thing and it's difficult to move any joints in the arm... have you considered trying a new instrument?
