EndtheRaven 161 March 12, 2013 Share March 12, 2013 Hey guys, I'm AviatorRaven. I just joined this forum. I make electronic music, and recently posted my first pony related song. I would love your opinions, as I'm fairly new to music productionhttps://soundcloud.com/aviatorraven
BronyKing 2 March 17, 2013 Share March 17, 2013 It's really good, however I feel that it doesn't really live up too it's name. The music isn't very shy, it's more moderate, with burst of shy and burst of outgoing. I'm not sure that's what your going for but overall it's pretty good. Zeno 47 March 17, 2013 Share March 17, 2013 Woah. I love that beat, but I think the vocals need to be a bit less echo-y or they need to fade out as they echo. I love the beat, though. I'm a big fan of songs that incorperate piano in some way.
OldAccount13 10 March 17, 2013 Share March 17, 2013 Not so fond of that echo, but I'll be damned if the track isn't pretty good. Is this your first song for the mlp community? Would definitely love to hear more from you
EndtheRaven 161 March 20, 2013 Author Share March 20, 2013 Thanks everyone! I appreciate the tips. That was basically rough cut, I'm gonna edit it a bit, do some more filtering and eqing and post a better version in a bit. I had never really worked with voices much, so the clip I used with her sounds a little off. I'll try to work with it and see if I can get it to blend better. I've been involved in music my whole life, but I'm pretty new to using a computer for it. And yeah this is my first mlp song. I've got another one that I'm currently working on as well, as well as a 4-track album that's not pony related. haha I'd love to collaborate with people and maybe make pmv's or something once I get a bit more experience. Basically what I envisioned was that the softer piano parts represent her shyness, But the livelier bits reflect that she is still a pegasus and shouldn't be afraid to fly. If that makes sense.
