This is a private roleplay between Thunder Dash, and Orchid Briar.

 

So what happens after an all out ponypocalypse of zombies?!

Heck, the citizens of ponyville aren't sure either! They do know they need to find out whose behind this and save all of Equestria...

But how?

[Courageous Thunder Dash 7,824]

Thunder Dash frantically is heading over to Celestia's Castle to find out how this happened. He was flying pretty fast and low and everything was almost a blur. Suddenly, he noticed a dark purplish figure ahead of him. He didn't have time to stop and crashed right in to it. He looked at the unicorn. "I am so so sorry. I was in a hurry on my way to Celestia's Castle to find out what or who caused the zombie attack. And who may you be?" Thunder Dash asked.

The collesion caused the mare to grunt as Thunder flew right into her, knocking her over. Whimpering, the dark horse stood up, her long slender legs trembiling. "O-Orchid Briar..." She responded, casting her hazel green orbs up to the stallion. "I-I was on my way there, too... " She trailed off, glancing down to her hoof shyly. "Something bad has happened to all the p-ponies here... They tried to eat me too..." She added, turning to head back to Celestia's palace.

"I know, that's why I'm trying my best to escape. Fortunately, I can wield electricity through my body, which is my main talent." Thunder Dash said waiting for Orchid Briar to respond. He then got up and and helped Orchid Briar get as well. He then looked back at Ponyville for a second.

Briar followed his gaze back to their decaying ponyville. "T-Then, I guess we better hurry." She responded turning and breaking into a full gallop. She could see the castle, looming in the distence, but it seemed it would never get closer. She couldn't help but wonder what exactly happened? How did all of ponyville- possibly, ALL of Equestria- become zombies? She was sure the answer laid ahead, at the castle.

Thunder Dash continued at a gallop but slowly rose back into the air. He then thought about his sister Rainbow Dash who was up in Cloudsdale. "I just hope Rainbow's alright." Thunder Dash said to himself as he increased his speed and headed to the castle. Soon they arrived. 

 

(OOC: Do you want to do Princess Celestia?)

OOC: I'll take Celestia. :3

 

IC: Briar followed Thunder closely, proving to be quiet fast on her feet despite being wobbily. Upon arrival of the castle, the door imedantly opened to reveal Princess Celestia who wore a look of worry. "Hurry, come in my little ponies." She urged, gesturing the two ponies into the castle, before closing the door and locking it firmly. Briar had no troubles slipping past the willowy figure of the princess, and into the darkness of the hallway.

Thunder Dash scurried through as the door closed. He then thought about what the Princess would say. Most of all, he thought about his sister Rainbow Dash, who was up in Cloudsdale. He was worried if the zombie ponies get of there, she's in deep trouble.

"As I'm sure you two know, we have zomponies running about." Celestia began, leading them away from the door, and deeper into the palace. "This was all caused by the ancient pony, Rune, Yu've heard of her by chance?" The princess asked, turning to face the mare and stallion. "U-Uh yes, she's pretty bad... she studied forbidden magic... right?" Orchid asked, looking down to her hooves, nervously. "Yes, and she also studied necromancy."

"The name sounds familiar but I can't quite recall it." Thunder Dsh said thinking. "My time in Ponyville isn't that long. I was orphaned when I was born and I have no memory of my parents, and I don't know that many ponies around here, but I did overhear some old pony telling a story about a dark pony." Thunder Dash continued.

Princess Celestia nodded. "Just like Nightmare Moon, many ponies thought her only an old pony tale... but she IS real." She responded turning to Brair. "Please light the way."

"E-Eh, me?" The dark pony stuttered, before giving a slight nod. Focusing herself, her horn began to glow a purple, and luminescent purple lotuses appeared, floating in mid air. They formed a path, leading to where ever it was that Celestia wanted.

"Alright, young ponies, follow me." The princess told them, leading them away, into a large room with pedastals, each holding a relic. "Only two elements can defeat Rune... The element of Wind." She began, looking to Thunder Dash. "And the element of Flora." She added, looking to Briar. She then proceeded to nudge the ponies up to the pedastals.

"I could probably do an energy conversion...but...I've never tried it before..." Thunder Dash said thinking about it. While watching the relics, he thought about how he could convert his electricity into wind. He could create tornadoes like every other pegasus, but creating actual wind for combat was a new challenge. Thunder Dash stepped on the pedestal.

As soon as Thunder stepped upon the pedastal, a bright yellow light emitted from the base. It materialized around his neck, forming a pendant. "This will amplify your power, Thunder Dash." Celestia informed the stallion. "It will also help you harness the power of wind, which I'm sure you'll find useful."

Briar, proceeded to step upon the other pedastal, causing it to emit a simular light, but in a hue of purple and it turns into a pendant aswell. "This pendant allows you to use your magic for offensive and defensive purposes." She informed the young mare.

"Also, I would recommend you two get to know each other... because you two will need each other to survive." Celestia informed them.

"Alright!" Thunder Dash said jumping off the pedestal excitedly. "So where do we begin?" He asked. His thoughts then suddenly shifted to that of the pendant around his neck. He then thought about how the pendant could act as an energy converter, from electricity to wind.

Briar moved to stand beside her new partner, trying to hold her head up high.

"You two must travel to the Lost Kingdom of Fairis." She responded, passing them a map, which had an area marked off. "You will be able to find her holed up here... but be warned, the closer you get, the more zomponies." She warned, her bright eyes, carrying the worry.

"We will be fine, won't we, Thunder?" Briar finally spoke up, trying to be brave.

"Oh yeah!" He said standing proudly. Deep inside he was still worried about Rainbow Dash and his other family up in Cloudsdale. "Rainbow Dash, this one's for you." He said to himself as silently as he could. He then looked at the map to where the destination was. It's gonna take days to get there." He said.

Princess Celestia nodded. "Unfortunatly it will, so I suggest you get moving as quick as possible, I have bags prepared with rations and supplies." She added, bringing for two saddle bags.

"Your so kind, Princess, thank you." Briar responded with a quick bow before picking up the bag and quickly fastening it to her back.

[Courageous Thunder Dash 7,824]

Thunder Dash bowed as well and left along with Briar. "I really want to fly to this place, but you can't fly...wait a sec. What am I talking about. I don't know why I always keep forgetting that spell!" Thunder Dash said. "Hold still Briar." He said. He then concentrated some of his energy and aimed it at Briar. True pegasus wings sprouted form Briar. "Looks like I didn't forget how to do it after all. By the way, those pegasus wings last until we defeat Rune. So that'll make it so much better to evade those zombie ponies." Thunder Dash said. 

 

(OOC: I hope that doesn't count as being too OP.)

Briar glanced back, a strange sensation occuring as she watched wings sprout. "O-Oh my goodness..." She whispered, suddenly feeling as if she had an extra limb, as she stretched her new wings. She nodded, in response to what he said. "Y-yeah, I see your point... Much easier to evade them, thank you."

"Well, let's head over to...whatever that place is called." Thunder Dash said spreading his wings and rising into the air. He had the map in front of him. "Ok, this looks like a straight route towards the place." Thunder Dash said as he began to increase his pace.

Briar spread her wings out, and with a couple test flaps, rose into the air. Of course she was abit slow, but then again, she was used to being an earth bound pony. Flying wasn't normal for her. Glancing upwards, she noticed Thunder had gone father ahead, and was almost out of ear shot of her. Perhaps once she was abit more comfortable with her wings, she'd be faster.

"Hanging in there?" Thunder Dash asked Briar as he slowed down to fly next to her. Another thought of Cloudsdale returned to his mind. It now seemed to torment him and fill him with worry, yet he was certainly positive that everything was going to be alright and Rainbow Dash and rest of his family would survive this.

"I-I'm sorry for slowing you down." She apologized, slowly getting the feel for her wings. She was thinking at this point, perhaps travel would be faster for her on foot... But then again, on the ground she was a liability. Zomponies could easily attack there, and this epidemic had infected alot. She even heard it was slowly spreading to the cloud kingdoms. Recalling this, she pressed on, trying to gain speed and fly faster. Once the sky was gone... nothing was safe anymore.

"Once we get closer to the place, I'll put up a shield to protect us from zombie ponies. It should hold against hard attacks from them." Thunder Dash said. He then thought about the evil Rune, the one who was responsible for all of the crazy chaos and mess. He then sped his pace slightly.

Briar glanced over her shoulder, hearing something. "O-Ohh... A zompegasus." She exclaimed, seeing a zombified pegasus rise up from a cloud. "Do you trust me?" She asked, Thunder, her hazel orbs looking up to the stallions face. "I think I can get him out of the skies for awhile..."
