Judgment Day

So this is my fanfic that I've been working on for over a month, now. I've gotten barely any feedback at all, and I know that the first few chapters are absolutely horrible. Actually, most of the chapters probably suck. I'm hoping that they story is at least gripping, as I plan to do a bunch of editing when I finish with fleshing out the story itself.

Synopsis: Twilight discovers an ominous object in the stars. She shows her discovery to her friends and Celestia, but is dismissed by everyone... except Rainbow. The two frantically search for some way to stop the coming disaster, but they fail. Now, with Equestria on the brink of destruction and a strange pony from a faraway land, can they save the world? Or is history doomed to repeat itself?

Just some notes: the story has gore, although it isn't grimdark style. It's meant to follow an actual storyline instead of just being as horrible as possible. I draw a lot on the elements of Stephen King, from which I have gathered the philosophy that you can't be afraid to take unfamiliar turns. The heroes never die? Where's the realism in that?

But anyways, some of the scenes can be somewhat... brutal. Not like "Cupcakes" brutal, but still...

If I could get honest feedback without anyone being rude about it, I'd appreciate it. Half of the responses I get are "You suck" or "This is shitty; give up."

Plus, if you do enjoy it, let me know specifically what you liked. Honestly "THIS ROCKS" and "MOAR!" don't really help me because they don't tell me what specifically makes it good or bad.

Also, having just joined, I'm not aware of how y'all do the censorship biz. I'm used to typing out the full word and having it censored if it's going to be. If that's not the case, just say so and I'll remember it for the future.
