open At the Gala [Romance]

This RP will be about ponies getting ready for the Grand Galloping Gala and meeting each other, it will be a romance Rp so if you are uncomfortable with that then leave now. Keep in mind to stay within the boundaries of the Forum Guidelines, no detailed sexual themes please.

 

Rules:

1-Anypony can be with anypony they want.

2-Mane 6 and various other characters can and will be used.

3-Godmodding is allowed but only to advance the story, don't make the pony do anything out of character.

 

Without further ado, let's start.

 

Missy Starlight was getting ready for the Gala, she decided to just get ready in the library instead of at the Carousel Boutique, as she found that too many ponies in that situation would be too much to handle.

"Missy? Are you ready yet?" a familiar voice asked. This dress was more difficult to get on than she had anticipated.

"Just a minute!" Missy shouted. "I've just got... to... aah." Missy fell backwards and hit her head on a wall.

"Do you need any help?" the voice asked. It was Twilight, she walked through the door to see Missy in an upside-down position with a half put-on gala dress.

"You could say that." Missy said sarcastically.

Benny tugged on his second layer of his suit coat. He had been invited to the Grand Galloping Gala, but he hardly knew anypony there. Who knows, maybe he'd meet somepony special. Benny adjusted his Melondallion so that it sat comfortably on top of his collar. He slicked back his hair, but failed. He gave up and headed off to Carousel Boutique, where Miss Rarity had agreed to help him with any malfunctions.

The unusual sounds of squealing and moaning came from the library as Twilight helped Missy put on her dress.

"I thought Rarity told you how to put it on already." Twilight said. "...and stop squirming." Twilight had always been like a mother to Missy rather than a teacher, it's at moments like these that it is really obvious.

"Sorry, it's just really uncomfortable." Missy said. "How do you ponies wear these things?" Missy struggled with her ruby necklace, it was a bit tight. Finally, Missy was ready, they headed over to the Carousel Boutique where the rest were already finished.

"We've still got a bit of time until the gala darling, just relax. Rarity said to Missy when her and Twilight arrived.

Benny burst through the door, his face covered by his raincoat hood. He hadn't wanted anypony to see his terrible hair failure. He stumbled blindly inside, only viewing twelve legs, one set was unrecognizable.

"Miss Rarity? Are you there?" Benny asked.

"Erm, yes my dear. I am. Why are you wearing that terrible outfit? It does not match anything!" Rarity replied.

"Sorry, I didn't want anypony to see my hair failure," Benny tugged off his hood. When he did, he saw the owners of the twelve legs. One was Rarity, the next was Twilight, and finally a very pretty pony who Benny had never seen.

"OHMYCELESTIA!" Rarity shrieked. "YOUR MANE! WE MUST TEND TO THIS IMMEDIATELY!"

Rarity dragged the unfortunate earth pony by the ear into the back room and washed his hair out. It lay flat over his eyes, heavy with water.

In the mountains home of Fireblaze, as he was getting ready for the Gala as he was combing his hair while looking at the mirror and wearing a tux too. “I Hope Dash notice me, since I saw her and she is cute also cool.” As he was checking for anything and he smiles. “Time to show off this look and hope Dash will like it.” Then he Flew off out of his home and heading to the Booquike for a last moment touches to his hair.

Missy was shocked by this strange stallion's mane, it was very messy, Rarity almost had a heart attack when she saw it. She basically grabbed Benny and flung him across the room and in a flurry of...um...stuff, she fixed his mane, it loked amazing.

"Missy? I wanna talk to ya!" A familiar southern voice called from across the room. Missy found it hard to gallop in her dress so she ended up tripping on her own hooves, Missy grumbled, got up and walked over to Applejack.

"Ah need help with this." Applejack said. Applejack's mane was a bit of a mess too, so from then until they left, Missy tried to sort out the big bundle of hair that was Applejack's mane.

"Much better," Rarity said, satisfied with the final product.

"Eyup," Benny said when he looked in the mirror.

"So, my dear, how's the melon market?" Rarity asked as sne adjusted his melondallion.

"Okay," Benny replied in his deep voice.

A loud noise came from the cute pony. She gad tripped over her dress.

"Careful!" Rarity squealed. "You might hurt it!"

"The pony or the dress?" Twilight asked.

Rarity thought for a moment.

"Both," she replied.

Benny rolled his eyes, knowing that she was originally more concerned with the dress.

Epic Rainbow finished putting on her beautiful, sparkly, purple dress. She flew over to the Carousel Boutique carefully, as not to damage her outfit. She was also wearing blue horseshoes and a red ribbon. On her neck, she was wearing a green heart neckalce. She landed outside the boutique and trotted through the door. "Hey, Rarity. Hey, Twilight." she said enthusiastically. "Hey, other ponies!"

"Eeh" Was all that came from Missy, she was too wrapped up in the work she was doing now, Applejack sure did have a lot of hair.

"Working on the Apple farm all day really isn't doing your mane any favors you know." Missy joked cheerfully, getting a scowl from Applejack, this was her least favorite thing to do.

Renegade trotted around Canterlot, admiring the scenery. He had visited the place before, and he felt pretty proud. But there was one other thing on his mind: the Gala. "Who'll go with me?" the unicorn asked himself. Meh. It didn't really matter at the moment, so Renegade just pushed the thought into the recesses of his mind. All that mattered now was that he could just wind down and relax.

Missy looked at her work and she was pleased, the Gala was in just over an hour so they should probably get going. Missy had an idea.

"Wait, i have a better plan." Missy charged up a spell, to teleport them all to Canterlot. They appeared in Canterlot and Missy was very dizzy.

"Are you OK?" Twilight asked while trying to hold in a giggle.

"I'm fine." Missy's eyes were googly for a couple of seconds. Hopefully she wouldn't need to do that kind of magic again for a while.

"Woah," said Epic Rainbow. She was unprepared for that teleportation spell. In Canterlot, she saw a handsome unicorn stallion wandering around, clearly admiring the scenery. She trotted over to him to say hello. He was even more handsome up close. She blushed briefly and then smiled. "Uh...Hi..."

((This RP is going to focus more on Slice of Life moments rather than Romance.))

Missy checked over her dress just in case her spell went bad and burned it in some way. It was still beautiful,  Missy decided to "talk" to Pinkie Pie.

"Pinkie, are you as excited as i am for the gala?" Missy asked.
"I am super-duper-absopositivelutely excited." Pinkie shouted in her "party-party" tone. Almost literally shaking Canterlot.

(but in the title it says At the Gala [Romance] so i assumed it was romance, not SoL... especially since i dont know what slice of life means...rofl xD)

 

Epic Rainbow asked the stallion his name. "I'm Epic Rainbow, by the way," she said. Epic Rainbow smiled nervously. She hoped the unicorn would like her.

Renegade looked at Epic. "Name's Renegade. Nice to meet you, milady." He then respectfully kissed her hoof. He then hesitantly looked into her eyes. Boy, was she beautiful. More beautiful than Celestia or Luna in comparison. "So.. are you busy tonight?" he asked her.

Fireblaze land at the Boutique as he enters and see others too. "Hay Twilight, Rarity, Dash, Applejack, Pinky Pie, Futtershy and others." As he went to look for a best tie to wear while he was thinking about something and was going to be best for the dance.

Missy decided to start trotting towards Canterlot Castle, it was beautiful, especially on a night like tonight. She felt like bursting out into song. (Your character must sing.)

 

At the Gala, In the Library

I'm going to read them all.

All the spells, i will learn them at the gala!!

 

All the scrolls and the magic!

It will be oh so great!

I'll remember them forever!

Fireblaze then thinking what he plan do at the gala while picking out a top hat match his colors and he was looking at the sky too.

At the Gala, in the ballroom
I am going to meet my prefect mare for to dance and be with.
I hope she is fast, cool like me and can catch up to me too.
I want someone so we can mix our Sonic Fireboom and Sonic Rainboom tog ever.

I want to be the best!
I want to join the wounderbolts since they are the best flyers in equestrian
I will fly with them and be cheer by fans too.

Epic Rainbow blushed as Renegade kissed her hoof. "No, actually. I'm not doing anything tonight," she said. "Why do you ask?"

 

At the Gala, I'm gonna find a stallion.

I'm gonna meet my match!

I'm gonna make a big catch!

 

I wanna find a mate!

I'm gonna meet a real nice fella!

I'm itching just to find a date!

"Sure. I would love to," replied Epic Rainbow. She moved her head in closer to him and gave him a kiss on the cheek. She blushed and smiled as she moved her head away from him. Epic Rainbow laughed nervously and blinked.

 

At the Gala, I'm gonna have a boyfriend!

I'm gonna make my move,

And finally seal the deal!

I'm gonna find my love!

 

I'm gonna go on my date,

I really like him, I don't know what to say!

But I don't wanna be late

For the Gala!!!

Renegade blushed. Neither of them seemed to notice a mysterious hooded figure from afar.

Epic Rainbow giggled and saw the mysterious hooded figure out of the corner of her eye. She decided to ignore it and started chatting with Renegade. "So," she started. "Tell me about yourself. I was born and raised in Cloudsdale. I have a twin sister named Epic Thunder who was adopted when we were one year old. But now she moved in with me!!"

That was weird, everyone started singing, oh well.

 

Missy walked through the doors of the castle and was greeted by Celestia.

"Good evening Ms. Starlight, how are you feeling tonight?" Celestia asked.

"I'm good, i'm a little nervous though." Missy replied, blushing a little.

"That shouldn't be a problem, Twilight here will help you." Celestia reassured Missy. She turned around and Twilight grinned. *squee*

Missy giggled and the two headed off to the castle library.
