Same thing showed up for me.

I don't know what it is, nor do I really care.

I think we all know that Google already takes our personal info and everything. There's really nothing we can do about that.

You'd be surprised at how many programs are watching what you are doing in a given second. Google is no different - however, contrary to popular belief, there are ways of stopping Google from watching you (to a certain extent).

Ghostery is an excellent addon for Firefox that both 1) shows you what programs are watching you, and 2) allows you to block said programs.

On this page alone, there are six programs running in the background: ContextWeb (advertising), Facebook Connect (widget, what you use to sign in through Facebook), Google +1 (the Google+ sign-in plugin), Google Analytics (the thing that is probably watching more than anything else), SkimLinks (more advertising), and the Twitter Button (up at the top of the page).

If it really bothers you, download Ghostery and browse through their libraries/guides on what little widgets are doing and what information they take in. It's pretty impressive.

If you want to go thermonuclear against said programs, download Ghostery, NoScript, and Adblock Plus. (Add MLP Forums as an exception to Adblock Plus though.)

I hope this helps! smile.png
